When you put Malphite to solo tank in early, wast better to put Cho'gat instead? Cuz it get focused and dies first so Malphite gets the behemoth stats plus the item.

It's the item. When you use Stoneplate's passive, it gains 10 armour and 10 Magic Resist for every enemy that targets it. That's why you want to solo tank Malph eary to get the full value from Stoneplate. What you're suggesting is sacrificing the Cho Gath to get +6 armour and MR on Malph for 8 seconds, which doesn't seem right. Hope this helps!
