It was the best gamer day of my life when the second binding dropped in… 2005 and got the TF as main dps rogue named Teyla in the guild Cadre Quietus on Arthas US server, after 10 months of farm, playing from Europe, with 7hours of time difference, so from 1AM to 5-6AM in the morning, while I was working at 9AM, such crazy days, but so great… miss them.

Why do you need both thunder fury and sulfur hammer, u only need one, don’t be an ass and dual spec tank and dmg

Do you have a full list of classes that can pick up the bindings and start the quest? Or are the list of classes just the 4 classes: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue and Paladin?

Can you farm the two parts first than start the quest or you have to get one part first than start the quest than return to get the 2nd part?

you'll have to farm it on a warrior, rogue, paladin or hunter I believe. However once you've unlocked the appearance you can transmog other classes that wield one handed swords.

I've got one side on a character and another side on another character, will it still drop? or do i need to delete one on 1 character

do i need both on same char?

Some day I'll have this on my Warrior tank, that would be CHILL.

I crafted my 10 mithril bars back in mists of pandaria in 2013. I still dont have the left binding. I think its bugged. Ive been farming for 10 years.

1:50 after you turn in the quest what would happen if you hypothetically wiped? would you lose all the mats you had? That would suck if you had to do it all again

hey Zermist. From what I remember back in Vanilla, it was just advised to make sure you definitely have a group that can kill him. I couldn't dig up any commentary from people who did in fact wipe and what the repercussions were.

To be fair he is not that hard though, I think I had 15 guildies online, and we pugged the rest back in vanilla. Downed him no problem.

Excuse me, do you still read new comments in your old videos? I just watched a clip, where Asmon obtained the legendary weapon. However a very particular sentence caught my attention: "Tag it". So, what would happen if the person doesn't tag the boss, but rather someone else from another raid or from the opposite faction? Also, can the elite despawn if the person failed to kill him a bunch of times? Are they obligated to redo the quest all over again?

hi there Oxy! Pretty awesome that he finally got the TF! If someone else tagged the mob, I'm not actually sure, however, I would bet there's a way he could abandon the quest and then redo it when able to (same goes for if it despawns or you're unable to kill).

@@Quissy watch?v=sMLqYainAOQ He completes the quest at 13:15. Is the quest repeatable? It looks like the npc summons the elite AFTER you complete his task. It doesn't look like the summoning is related to a quest and if by chance you fail to kill the elite, you can abandon and redo it. What do you think about this?

I already have this sword from year's ago but it wont let me transmog to it.

@@Quissy thanks, no :/ cant yet. Lost alot of dps bc a gyuldie said i should do as simonisz or what ever his name is. (he got guides on wowhead) and dont remember how i specced, and i've tried diffrent enxhants and gems (for about 10k) but The dps is bad atm

so you need 10 enchanted elementium bars not the regular ones :) at least thats what u need in BFA

Earlier this year blizzard made the sword available for transmogrification, account wide. Meaning I get it with a warrior for example and then all of my characters which can use it will be able to use that transmogrification as well. Question. Is the quest AND the sword available to be used by all classes? Because it supposedly is. wow.gamepedia.com/Thunderfury,_Blessed_Blade_of_the_Windseeker (look under Patch changes, it specifically says: "Patch 3.1.1 (2009-04-21): The quest can be started by any class." Also, if is available to all classes how is this accomplished when Druids, for example, are not able to use swords? I suppose the quest is available but not the actual ability to equip it. And if so what is the point then? Seems pointless. The video is old but this helps illustrate my question. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nquY2M-DmsjIdJM.html However, I won't be using a Druid to farm it, rather paladins, rogues, hunters, warriors since these are the actual classes the sword description allows as users BUT...I also do have other classes, like death knights and casters, like mages who do wield swords, which I would like to use and thus increasing the % of it dropping. However, if the information on that link is wrong then please let me know since it would save me time from farming with the wrong class and end up spending a small fortune and vast amounts of time. I've killed Ragnaros 63 times and each time I've killed both mobs. The game doesn't want me to own Thunderfury.

Requirement to wield this weapon: Be a streamer

I call bs on 3-4%. Farmed for 8 years if not longer and only have one binding

It's called a 3-4% CHANCE for a reason. At MAX 4 out of 100 tries will succeed. Which means if you're neither lucky nor unlucky you get it after 25 kills. You can still have bad luck and not gain it after 100 tries.
