You know why they dont make sims 3 with better graphics or bring it on consoles ? Or make it easier to play? Because almost all would drop sims 4 and play sims 3, thats EA, a disgusting greedy company !

Well, at least EA doesn't charge us for bug fixes, actually I think a lot of players would actually pay for bug fixes if they worked right and didn't break the game more than before.

I will stand on The Sims 3 hill and die on it! I may build in Sims 4, but Sims 3 will always be my favorite for all the fun gameplay, customization, and open worlds.

Sims 3 there’s endless possibilities in careers, hobbies, lots of details in the game, personality traits(literally effecting almost everything including how sims painting comes out) and has way more to offer gameplay wise.

I'm dead! Yall talk talk talk about the bugs with Sims 4 and now we just gonna turn around and play older ones! I'm glad I'm not the only one!

Exactly!! I remember I was having issues trying to download the showtime expansion pack and EA wasn’t doing a damn thing about it. They are extremely greedy and never take in consideration of what their consumers are saying but when a big celebrity opens up about an issue with their game, they are hands-on. It’s really sad.

Got it last last week. Had trouble with getting it to run because my computer wouldn't update. Eventually got it working though. I have a level 2 handiness skill if I do say so myself 😎😎😎

Oh wow! I literally started playing the sims 3 this weekend lol it’s on sale for 7.99 so I said why not. I’m tired of my saves being broken with every update. Surprising entertaining and I don’t miss sims 4 playing it!

Same. The first time i play ts3 since a very very long time i havent played it, i almost cry😂 back when ts3 era i was still in university, I played it on my 2gb ram laptop. i still remember how long it took to load, my laptop is hot, the laptop fan sounds like turbo jet😂 now i play ts3 on my high end pc, i have never felt more grateful and appreciate to myself for being so patience during those days and studying so hard so i can have better job to earn enough money to buy myself a custom pc. Its really a journey 😂

Be forewarned if you play The Sims 1 that it is an unforgiving game and you will probably die a lot. But hey, it's more exciting than The Sims 4!

There’s no undo in buy mode in TS1, and iirc switching between build and buy modes locks in what you built, so if you need to knock down a wall or remove a wallpaper etc. and you’ve lost the undo you won’t get a full refund. But the flip side is that as long as you sell what you *bought* in the same day…full refund. There might be some exceptions.

Sims 1 social tip: Go to Magic Town IMMEDIATELY after work as time stops. You can make friends for promotions this way and then go home and have time to build your needs up before work the next day.

I love Sims 4 but I’ve been playing Sims 3 lately and I’m loving it!! 😊

@@nekolalia3389 My PC is older. The default software version for it was Windows 8.1. I updated to Windows 10 when Microsoft was pushing it out for free. My PC is also unable to upgrade to Windows 11 due to certain specs that I don’t understand.

I've been playing the sims 2 for a couple of weeks now and I'm really liking it. One thing I was shocked to find was that the sims 2 allows for hybrid occults which is really cool.

Alright boys and girls, I have been trying to get the sims three to work on my pc FOR TWO DAYS. I literally woke up, went to the bathroom, made my bed, fed my fish, etc. And after the usual wake up activities I went directly to the sims 3 to get it to work. everything I tried has a verry little effect on the game I have literally gotten to the point that I can figure out how laggy the game is based off of how it lags in the intro screen to the game menu. I even tried reprogramming some of the game. I DID NOT KNOW THAT YOU HAD TO RE ENABLE ALL THE CORES. DUDE THANK YOU I LOVE YOU

I used to play Sims 3 on my Xbox 360 when I was super young before Sims 4 came out, I've been playing 3 on my PC for the last few months and it's so so nostalgic and super fun now that I have all the packs (☠️) plus some CC (only had base game when playing on xbox), I'm not sure why but 3 is so much more immersive than 4 and it has me hooked in the way 4 used to before it fully went downhill

Good luck getting the Sims 1 to run, it's 24 years old and takes a lot of tinkering. I got all the store contents and all the dlcs. Fair warning the sims 1 is a different beast, it's very hardcore and don't your hands It's the first time in 15 years I played the Original sims. I missed this type of fun and brings back great memories. As for the sims 2, still playing it since it's initial release. That's a more family friendly and please don't lose track of time, it's that good. Both the sims 2 and the sims 1 are in GOG. Sims 3 funny, now I love it more than initially released. Got all the dlcs and 95 % of the store contents and a mod for island paradise to prevent excess lagging and make it more enjoyable. I'm currently playing in Sunlit Tides, not in the base game or any of the DLCS. Bought it from the sims 3 store. ( Sorry Epic game players it's not in the Epic Game Store), just buy it on steam, the EA app or Gog. I'm playing all versions of the sims in 1 weekend.

Another tip is to go into your video card settings and make sure to limit the FPS to 60, a quick way to make your game will run smoother (Sims 3 can stutter with too many FPS, and modern video cards can sometimes cause sims 3 to get FPS into the hundreds which causes huge slowdowns)

i’ve gone back to playing sims 3 for a little over two months now. there are a FEW things in the sims 4 i wish were available like the building cas and a tiny bit of features. however the amount of gameplay and limits you can go to in sims 3 are insane and amazing

I just did this and it absolutely works!!! just a tip if your graphics card fan seems to make a whirring sound or whistle, turn on the v-sync in your graphics card settings and it'll go away :)

I haven't been able to play my sims 3 since I bought my new computer and I have tried all the mods and patches that are recommended by people for this and nothing has worked yet. Also, yes, EA needs to go in and fix this for newer computers because they are still selling the sims 3 on their app.

Thank you so much for this video. Back in the day, I had to stop playing the Sims 3 because it just wouldn't work very well after I bought the Island pack. Every so often I would try again, and the lag was just horrible. Anyway, now the Sims 4 is a POS buggy nightmare, I felt the need to go back to 3. I actually installed it a few days before you uploaded this video, and couldn't get it to work. When I saw your video, I knew I had to try again, and it now loads! It actually runs amazingly well, and besides the old graphics, it's a joy to play. It reminded me that the the gameplay on 3 just feels so much more full and satisfying. I wish EA would rerelease 3 with updated graphics. I'm going to try to load that Island pack, and see if it will run on my modern machine!

The Island pack tends to be laggy for most, but there are fixes for it, and the features can be used in other worlds - there are several CC worlds with dive lots and such. One quick thing to do if it lags is to move anyone living on the houseboats to another lot and delete all the houseboats you aren't using.

Look up sims 2 osab installer - it installs the game with all the modern fixes you’ll need! Super easy and safe

Have you tried Lazy Duchess' launcher and smooth patch for TS3? Also if you want to play TS2 you'll need Lazy Duchess' launcher for TS2 and the Graphic Rules Maker. Glad to see you enjoy older sims again 😁💚

Yeah, even at Sims 4's release I stuck with Sims 3 and 2. That's the thing about the "completed" Sims titles. They're not really revisited by EA for updates or new content anymore so you rarely ever have to worry about updating mods. Getting the games to work on newer systems can be a challenge but I have them working fine on Windows 10.

haha so fun to see people going back. I already switched between both from time to time and i guess i always hoped that sims 4 could make me like it more at some point, but it's only become worse for me. Horse Ranch made me close to stopping and for rent gave me the rest. Now i am happy in sims 3 and occasionally sims 2. Though island paradise is still as buggy as i remember.
