I’m not sure what prompts the AI to face you. It seems like they usually will if you’re set up in the zone.

turn off Auto-back skating, if you haven't/ with this Enabled the Skater will Back skate on his own. where as if it were disabled, you have full control of your players vision Control

I have a question how do you deflect cuz I play on Xbox so what button would it be?

There’s no button press. If you’re positioned in the shooting lane and have good hand eye your player will automatically tip it. Doesn’t happen every time but facing the shooter helps too.

So for the Xbox it would be the rb button with right anolog stick For the shot pass ?

There’s no button input for tipping. Positioning and attributes/traits will give you a better chance tho.

Is anyone looking for a really good puck moving two way forward or a solid defenseman? Never been on a good team that plays like an actual hockey team.

Wow. I think I'm officially at a point in my NHL career where I need to learn again. Been playing since before EA games. Have been an elite online player since online existed. This is year has been different. It's been very mediocre results for me. I think there are a lot of things I need to sit down and take a look at. Put in some practice hours and really focus on the evolution of my game.

Yea I agree. This could be fixed by making a button function for tips instead of making them automatic if you’re in position.

Yeah this would work if the AI players actually stood in front of the net for me to shoot it at them for a deflection. Always right before I shoot it, they go to a new spot

Just stand in the path of the shot facing the puck for your best chance. Hand eye rating affects your player’s ability to tip pucks as well as the Big Tipper trait. You don’t press a button or anything like that to get your skater to tip the puck.

@@oxbowmoney9018 Ya. If a CPU is in the shooting lane there’s a chance they’ll tip it if they’re positioned well enough and have decent hand eye. There’s no controls for tipping the puck.

The longer you hold R1/RB the more it charges and a fully charged shot has more loft.

lol they dont realize Eye hand coordination is a skill lol and it takes more than just standing up in the goal Crease 🙄 lol

Worth a shot. Like I say in the video though, AI goalies save most of these. It's really going to be the most useful against human controlled goalies.

@@llamapenNHL yeh more often than not they will turn it aside. but it really depends on the positioning of the player, and who the Tendy is lol but my point was on most occasions it doesn't take any skill to Tip/deflect pucks. other than your player Attributes...

it's quite literally Automatic ! just stand up in front of the net. seriously.. it takes no skill to deflect the puck in 23, which is ridiculous.. i mean, Eye-Hand coordination is a skill no? lol i guess Easports missed the memo.. the Dummies 😂
