The dev should set the initial speed to be 0 after reset as sort of punishment and it could avoid these intentional reset shortcuts.

@@davidsaunders7118 If you "just want to race" then go in grand races or do playlists These help a lot of people, those who haven't spent 200+ hours farming on the game or just casual players who still want the rewards. If you really knew how to drive you wouldn't complain about these or be here in the first place, you can easily put decent scores and get plat without them, when i don't follow the vids i get placed in the 6k, and when i do follow i place in the 1.5k - 3k, its not huge, you might gain 25k points max, just helps you secure a spot, in case you worry

The big boats do hit more boueys but also much harder to turn and hit the red ones more often to break the score multiplier

So trigger, you hit the reset button just before passing through the check point to accommodate the new delay?

Unfortunately they forced us to use boats which I have zero parts in because of the lack of boat events they provide in the game… anyone know how to get boat parts?

Not sure if this is the place to post it, but for street 2 cars if you haven't already, you should definitely test out the s2000 ultimate edition. I've had some really good races and lap times with just regular parts on it

The reset in viper race puts be back on track going the wrong way no matter what angle I hit it from

Make sure you’re in front of it bro like drive past the yellow wall by the cars and reset if you have to . If you’re not in front by more than a few feet of it you will spawn backwards.

Go into settings and then turn off the rewind feature which will allow you to reset rather than rewind

That Crew 2 Viper is a good car. I've used it to good effect in grand races.

U need skill to use a plane effectively... better IVT gets rid of all these reset methods and other BS like obnoxious corner cutting... they should give a huge score penalty when damaging the car too much...

@@hybrid11theory75 cutting corners is part of racing. Shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line. If you can cut a big corner to get to a straight that makes you faster… IVT should go back to ranking summits like they were before.. putting everyone in the same car with the same build makes it come down to skill not how can I cheese a system like using a PLANE in a slalom! Makes me want to play summits seeing the top 100 people using the damn plane in summits… also they should ghost racers in Grand races cause a lot of these kids can’t drive to save their life in this game

@@kgrass976 Cutting corners on street tracks is ridiculous bc there's a strong nitro that puts you into place no matter how much offroad you drive... this is not racing for me. A penalty would be great so ppl can start learning a clean racing line around corners instead of bottling through everything... I see no problem with planes on slaloms since u have to master the handling before u can actually make a great score... but alpha gp on most slaloms is super easy, so theres no problem at all... ,)

there is no english word in the dictionary that can properly convey how much i fucking hate the amusing airport event, those cuts on a demon are just so fucking fried, and the race takes ages, worst thing ever messing up on the last uturns of the 2nd lap

I just did the ocean and sky playlist. For boat, I just played the first race in the playlist, have the scorebreaker set now. I could score 125,000 without the scorebreaker in the summit (buoy smashing). With the scorebreaker, got to 154,500.

I really like motorfest infact i like it much more than i thought i would, but and it's a big but,i freakin hate all this reset crap, you shouldn't have to keep resetting to get best times and taking huge short cuts, I've never known a racing game like this where basically cheating is the way to go,

The Score Breaker on the Boat I think is not really necessary, because I got more than 130,000 points anyway. For me the Score Breaker in the first feat is more than sufficient.

I feel it while watching it, but I don't think rewinding is appropriate for a driving game. It can help you get a good record, but it doesn't look like a driving skill. I'd like to see the management consider adding a 5-second handicap to rewind.

It's all bullshit !! The SUMMIT GUIDE should be called " TIPS and CHEATS" as most of it isn't actually SKILLED DRIVING !! Crashing into corners to RESET , SLIPSTREAMING with friends is unfair to SOLO PLAYER'S and trying to memorize all the SHORTCUTS as a NORMAL / CASUAL PLAYER just to have a chance of PLATINUM is crazy !! Would be great to have a SUMMIT WITHOUT ALL THE CHEATS / EXPLOITS / SLIPSTREAMING ETC. The summits just feel they are in favor to SWEATS , STREAMERS and EXPLOITERS who get PLATINUM every week. And BEFORE ANY OF YOU LOSERS SAY "Get good or it's a skill issue" it's mainly NOT SKILL that gets you PLATINUM anymore, it's EXPLOITING IT.

Dear ubisoft, you'll probably never see this but for the love of all things holy get rid of the damn traffic on feats. Nobody wants to spend hours trying to get a good score on escapes especially
