Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti is this thing we learned in school. I just sing it over the song and "Do" is always the key of the song. The process takes less than 5 seconds. Try it out! Also you will no if the key is major or minor. It's from the movie "The Sound Of Music". Love your channel!!

Yo what good Bro Thank you for the awesome value you give on this channel! You are a beast with it! What is your laptop setup? Do you have it set a special way to allow your DAW and all the plugins to run smoothly? Did you add a certain SSD drive etc? Also which protools do you use? do you recommend the subscription if so which one or is it better to buy it outright? I am looking to record vocals in Protools. Right now I work in Logic Pro X on a Mac Book Pro. I know I can upgrade it and add 2 SSD drives internally, is that necessary? Maybe you can make a tutorial on that if feasible. Thank you in advance for your reply and keep doing what you do You're great at it!

Hey Devvon Big fan of your work. Everyone I've tried working with doubt me and now I have a small set up and i'm trying produce and engineer my own music all on my own with very little help from others. I'm on a $120 budget and want to know which auto-tune plug-in is worth buying and trust worthy. I love music so much and I've been struggling but passion won't allow me to quit. I've bought and sold my little set ups over 10 time over the last 2 years and I just can't help but to keep trying. I'm in desperate need of help, your tutorials are awesome and very helpful. I'd love to know what you recommend man I'M HUNGRY BRO. I'm very pleased to see that you're actually out here helping other artist despite being one yourself. I appreciate your videos man. Saucy bro. I think a dope tutorial would be maybe a mini-series on some simple (misunderstood/misconceptions) singing tips as you got pipes dog. Combine that with recording into auto-tune. I think a lot of people don't know you can monitor yourself singing into auto-tune while recording but still record the vocal dry to tweak settings later. Maybe just some tips you've discovered along the way. I kinda discovered recording into auto-tune about 2 years ago and it's really helped me in learning to hit certain notes and find melodies and I can't sing for shit. Just wanna say also dog I really fuck with you and it's rare to find somebody who has had real success with music as an artist reveal some of their tips and secrets. It's dope. I ain't shit and the few hidden gems I've kept close to my heart but I think if I find any success I wanna reveal them just like. You are single-handely giving artists the power to compete with the industry's elite. I respect the fuck outta you. And I been listening for a minute. More of a casual fan if I'm honest. My favorite song of yours is "I'm Sorry Dad"

Wow. It's so funny how things play out. My brother and I have had the same feeling about the auto tune evo you showed for a whiiile. It just sounded as if it took *something* from the vocals. But we passed it off as maybe a lack of understanding in how to apply it.. eons later, we still couldn't get desirable results. I still don't know what that "thing" was.. but we didn't like it! Lol Good to see we weren't the only ones who felt that way.

He uses a good mic and preamp which colors the sound and makes a huge difference even before he mixed anything. But in this example I believe that he was using his template. It has some compression, EQ and Reverb etc. already applied

Use Nectar 3 By Izotope it will help you a lot to get profesionnal result. Presets are great and Auto detect too also Izotope 8 for the mastering you will have this quality.
