You get a separate portal for black card. You still keep all of your other cards they don't cancel them. Keep in mind Amex actually issues debt unlike Visa.

Because it's a flex

Card invites depend on locations… if you are from in a minor city or gamma city (CLT/Denver as example) the requirements are much lower than 500K. Spending 250K in Alpha city is probably too common to pass out invitations.

AmEx cards aren't accepted many places, worldwide. Might be a "flex" in the US but the world runs on Visa. My Visa black card is more recognized than my AmEx Centurion

I don’t get it. Why do all that for a credit car? If you just want to flex, there are companies out there that will transfer the data from your regular card to a centurion replica. You will get a fully functional centurion looking card. Even if I get an invite, I would ignore it.
