I am not sure .. I personally do not think it will make any difference .. probably u will be treated equally like a person with any other countries citizenship

nice video :) one question- suppose if get one year visa from 1st jan 2024 to 1st jan 2025. But if I arrive on 1st Feb 2024, which means I will officially live 11 months, in that case will i get personal number or coordination number ? I arrive 1 month late but visa valid for 1 year.

You shall still get personnummer, based on your contract duration. Make sure that you apply as soon as possible once you arrive. SKV is very supportive- you can reach them out via email or call. Thanks!

Hello Madam. I am awaiting for the RP card. Mostly i ll get in a week. In my decision copy, it says work starts from 18 th may to jul 15 2023. I plan to start from india on 24 th june. Am i eligible for personal no. Is it like u need to have visa for more than 12 months or once u land in sweden how much visa time is left out is taken into account for pin no?? Pls clarify. Your visa should be more than 12months … i dont think you will have any problem in getting personal number as you say if ur visa starts from may2022 till july 2023 then u are eligible to get personal number.. however if your company have assigned any third party to help you with visa application & appointment process they will also help you for personal number applications..you check with them they will fill your application for you .. & thankyou for complement..please subscribe it keeps me motivated 😊😊

If your wife is dependent on you then she shall also have same validity for her dependent permit so even she wont be able to have PN. You both shall have co-ordination number. Thanks

Hello! I have received my UT today however i was surprised to see the card validity to be until 31st March 2023. I was expecting to receive 2 years validity. I suspect that this is coming from my employment contract which stated "PERMANENT CONTRACT- PROBATIONARY PERIOD 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023". In this case am i eligible for a personal number? if not anything to consider as a next step?

In my opinion you might not get personal number… visa should be valid for more than 365days .. when you re-apply on the expiry of this card you might get visa for longer time period & can apply for personal number…

Ur UT card itself is visa for u … i think this is coz of recent changes in visa applications, before these changes in case of permanent employment contract you could get visa/ut card valid for 2years.. since the change in visa application you will receive visa valid until ur probation period n once get confirmation on your employment you might get permanent job employment n Visa along with that ..

It’s has been two months I applied for personal number yet not get personal number always say it may take almost 18 weeks

Generally authorities do not tell u the exact time or status but case to case basis it might take time .. there’s not much that we can do but wait

Hi, I have got my RP card last week. The dates in my RP card, Issue date - 21st April 2022 and expiry date -31st May 2023. My planned travel date is June 15th 2022. Am I eligible to get Person number?. Please clarify

But I suggest do not mention ur travel date on any documents.. is ur travel date is mentioned somewhere on some documents?

Our company used to provide deputation letter. So this letter will have the travel date

Try on skettteverket website.. u might get personal number.. u might not need to show this letter that u r talking about..

If u hv visa then the process will be same as dar as i know.. but u can check on sketteverket just to be sure

Yes, I cant emphasis enough how importante it is to get a Swedish personnummer! Its becuse our society is set up to work with personnummer! Its still this, if one want to stay more the 90 days, one have to apply for an extended Visa.. this is about tourists.. or visiting family! It altso means that one need to have enough of money to sustain one self, and preferably a travelers healt insurance! In anyway if one is not a tourist and want to settle in sweden for more then 3 months one have to register, at skatteverket.. our tax agency, go figure out why they keep the population register!? So, if one is frome a non EU country, one have to strugle with our imigration authority.. EU citicens can apply directly to skatteverket for a resident permit, temporary or permanent.. one can get a permanent resident permit withouth a swedish citicenship. If one got a resident permit, one get treated like any other citicen, but one still need a personnummer and a swedish ID card. I belive one need to live here for 3 years and have a permanent employment.. pay ones taxes in sweden, to get a permanent resident permit? And there is more to it, one need to take at least a majority of payd vacation out of job, and in some cases even payd paternal leave.. and its higly recomended to take at least a few weeks of payd father leave! Why.. its the normal thing in sweden.. otherwise our imigration authority can belive that ones employment contract is fake!! Back to Personnumer.. our system is put up to be almoste automatic, your personnumer is altso your tax account, at skatteverket! And if one want to do any sort of economic transaction, they ask for your ID-card, its to protect you and make sure that the bussines get payd. One can pay by card or an App, but then one alredy have a swedish ID! Want to do bigger bussines that cant be done with cash or card, kind of buying a flat or lease a car, they gonna check your history, your salary, and if one have payment notes or other loans! Soo, what is this about, its about transparency!
