Thank you for this lesson. Very practical and fundamental! I love funky patterns when used in blues rock style.

I’ve been working on a couple of songs with funky rhythms.. move yourself to dance by daft punk and all mixed up by 311. Really got to start slow but once it’s happening it’s so fun. Just a focus on rhythm in general is so fun. Been having a blast with some rhythm practice videos on KZread and it’s making my playing so much better. You can play simple chords but if it’s funky then you’re creating a whole vibe

Just bought it and spent the afternoon working on it. Excellent course and very progressive. The swing feel is an excellent addition compared to most other courses on funk rythm.

When you get further on, show examples of playing off the open A form.

Whats the trick to keeping your hands in sync.... Keeping the right hand constantly moving and timing when to press the chord seems really tough especially moving in between playing an up beat and then moving to a down beat. Definitely takes some serious hand synchronization and trying to keep up with the chops with your ears to stay in time with your fret hand... If that makes sense. Probably just takes alot of practice to really get it down
