@@dkgdmand essentially but nintendo also had to give permission since they own a lot of the rights involved too, they also indirectly make a profit from pokemon go. Niantic don't own pokemon go though they just develop it, if Nintendo, pokemon company or creatures decided they wanted it gone they could easily do so

The only thing holding us back from basically infinite shadow mewtwos is no remote raids

yeah, i now can't get this pokemon. i live in a real urban area, and sure there are several gyms around me, but no one plays this game in my town. i think there's only 2-3 people who do and that's not including me. it really sucks.

This will be the case with every single pokemon. Waiting years for some feature to come out means you are holding back the enjoyment of working towards maxing a pokemon for the sake of a “what-if”. Niantic is pretty brutal with such things. People spent so much money hatching shiny Woobats, then they did a community day.

on both saturday and sunday they work 11 hours? Cmon be serious. raids strat at 10:00 and despawn at 23:00 or maybe even 23:15. U have plenty of time to do them and u only need 3/4 ppl

@@alessandrocozzi3299 on everyday. I shouldnt have to explain to you how differently other places operate. I live in a city of just over 4000 people. 11 total gyms here. And raids start at 05:00 and can spawn until 19:45 not 23:00 per per the ign page updated in may. Of the 11 gyms they may get battled once a week or two let alone have people to raid with. My ability to raid has solely relied on me either buying remote passes and using lfg style pages for raid hosts or to grind the 1-3 star raids by myself. Edit: also wanted to mention the last time i had a group to raid in person was august 11 of 2017 when zapodos was in raids here.

No remote raids is very painful, considering i live in an area where nobody plays pokemom go, so unless 4+ people appear out of thin air i doubt i'll catch any

I'm playing since 2020 and I never won a single raid because no one is playing Pokémon GO in my city. I do everything alone. When I see news like this I just laugh. :D

I'm just glad we have Campfire now to help coordinate these raids now. It was always so frustrating just parking my car in the middle of my city and then watching Discord until someone posted about a raid nearby that people were actually interested in doing. It was hell trying to coordinate raids in my very large but unpopulated town. I think it'll be much more bearable nowadays! With any luck I'll only need to do like 5-10 raids before getting the shiny anyways! I've got 3 shadow Mewtwo now so it could be nice to have 3 more so I have a complete team of them lol

Thats not the correct use of the word narcissit. And even tho its sad for some people the point of the game is to go outside and to run arround and not just to stay at home while getting infinited legandaries which are supposed to be the peak experience of p go catches. They want to stop the inflation of the value of these pokemon. Long term it will be more healthier for the game and it will endure longer.

I sure do love living no where near any gyms and not with others who play, I sure do love Niantic

I caught a shiny mewtwo in the 2021 go fest so hopefully I’ll get lucky and get the shiny this time too

@ab it’s in Ohio but a more rural area of it not many people play out here so there’s very minimal stops or gyms in my area I also don’t have access to them all the time other than school and that’s only 2 gyms and from where I live the closest one would be about a 45 minutes walk
