Ok this makes it make a lot more sense to me now. Essentially you just comb your hair out and then feel and see at what point it gets hard to continue combing. Then you just cut those ends off from there huh

With all my hair (past my shoulders) thick and naturally wavy/curly/easily tangled my shoulders and neck start hurting too much to comb anymore. I just go halfway then get a girl to comb and braid real quick. I see I have to invest into a blow-dryer because growth have slowed down recently.

Take off about 0.5 inches and see how your hair feels afterwards. Hair grows about 0.5 inches a month on average, so you won't be cutting too much of your progress off to test it out.

I did everything U said, but when it comes to the part of noticing the split zone with the comb things get confusing. Like, I get to the part when I need to cut & then I cut it, so I pass the comb one more time & suddenly a new split zone appears, every single time
