How To Get Rid of Sebaceous Filaments QUICKLY

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Sebaceous filaments are a natural part of the skin's oil production process, originating from the sebaceous glands. These glands are responsible for producing sebum, an oily substance that helps moisturize and protect the skin. Sebaceous filaments are composed of sebum and dead skin cells that accumulate in the pores, forming tiny, pin-like structures that are often visible on the nose, chin, and forehead.
In this video we will help you understand the science behind sebaceous filaments and how to effectively reduce the appearance of them quickly, and get rid of black dots on your nose or chin long term!

Years ago, when I was a teenager (many years 😂), I started piercing a capsule of Vitamin E and applying it to my face at night. I remember seeing sebaceous filaments that just popped out with no kind of manipulation.

I’ve been using unicorn oil from Kindred Black and rubbing it into my nose for a few minutes before falling asleep. Some of the stuff in the pores starts to come out while I’m rubbing the oil in. I have a dry wash cloth in then take the oil off with and go to bed. I’ve also used ponds cold cream in the past and that works well for these too but I started becoming allergic to a lot of products and can’t really use it anymore.

How many days a week would you suggest this used? The Paula’s Choice one says it usable daily, twice a day. Thanks for the content also, great explanation

Hey there :) yes some brands do advertise that you can exfoliate daily. But you shouldn’t unless you have been prescribed a specific skincare routine by a esthetician or a dermatologist who have analyzed your skin. Over exfoliation can lead to a damaged skin barrier which causes more issues on the skin. I wouldn’t exfoliate anymore than 2-3 x per week and if you are using retinol too - you only need to exfoliate 1-2 x per week as retinol is also exfoliating. It will depend on your skin and the products you are using at home :)

For salicylic acid , its better to use as toner or facial wash ?

  • @SkinZoneTV

A leave on serum is the best :) Otherwise a toner over the face wash. You want the salicylic acid on the skin as long as possible for it to do it’s job. Some people get great results with a cleanser but I just found from myself and clients leave on products with salicylic acid in it works the best xx
