Better to loop the wire through one choke twice. If you can, poking the tail or plug end of the wire out the same way it went in can sometimes make it work a bit better. Use a cable tie to stop it pulling through. If there's room put the smallest choke that will tightly clamp the wire on the end or even after the plug. A better bet is to buy globes that advertise as having radio interference suppressed and use chokes to further improve performance. Some guy on KZread put an oscilloscope on his light bar and found where the RF noise was and built a proper filter LOL. It worked perfectly - there was absolutely no noise.
