Doctor , scalp pro shampoo is good for normal or for avoid dandruff , using it once a week , can use soap is good for daily scalp wash ( like dettol, lifebuoy, santoor etc) or it may dry the scalp

DHT is one of the main causes of hair loss, but other factors are also associated with it such as Nutritional deficiencies like Vit. B12, Vit. D, Iron, Calcium. Also Hormonal imbalances like irregularity in thyroid hormone, Telogen effluvium, in case of extreme physical or mental stress for which you need to do some blood investigations, to determine if the hair loss is due to above causes. Thanks for sharing your expert advice on dandruff. My dandruff problem is a bit different from the points that you discussed in this video. I have a dandruff issue of mild nature but it is aggrevated by scalp buildup that sometimes causes itching. I have a habit of applying oil (coconut oil or castor oil) to my hair after shampooing for both hair nourishment and hair-setting. Since my hair is dry, oil helps it set properly. Without oil, my hair looks frizzy or unsettled. So putting oil is a compulsion for me. I shampoo after a gap of 3 to 4 days. So, I always find a layer of scalp buildup that I think combines both dandruff and dirt or oil dregs. Please suggest a way-out to solve the problem of scalp build up and tips to remove the layer.

Akash i would like to guide you regarding Dry flakes , to avoid this flakes you can do shampoo daily morning before applying Minoxidil & once your hair gets dry, you can apply Minoxidil & at night before applying Minoxidil you can wash your scalp with plain water, so that you will notice less flakes. Otherwise you can even consult your Dermatologist he will help you to change Minoxidil brand.

Doctor, I have dandruff... but along with that I am also taking Minoxidil (Toogain Men) and a Vitamin Supplement (Keraglo Men) for a receding hairline. The nature of the problem on my scalp is such that it is suddenly very itchy when I have worn too many warm clothes, eaten spicy food or the sun is up high. Hello Ravinder, For dandruff, you can use Ketoconazole containing shampoo twice a week. If you still face issues, I would suggest you consult dermatologists and then start proper treatment.

sir i have dandruff in my hair but as u recommended me to use anti -dendruff shampoo my hair are also so dry so will it make my hair more dryer??

sir tell me abt stucky oily dandruff how to remove them

Sir when I use anti dandruff shampoo then hairloss occurs plus it works till am using it once left then again same condition. When I use home remedies then it works but when I leave it for sometime then dandruff is back. My scalp and skin in oily so iching and flakes are the main problem. Can u suggest me what to do ??

Sir nothing works for seborrheic dermatitis. I tried ketoconazole,cyclopirox,zinc pyrithione,salicylic acid , coal tar under the supervision of dermatologist.
