I still recommend getting sorcery and the specific spells before taking on dungeon delver, and getting the following spells learned: invisibility self, slow fall, magma wall (this gets used twice), and the zombie swarm foggy spell (it works better against thag at the start of the fight when compared to mirror mark or zath orbs. i tried using the zath orbs several times, but currently they are buggy and want to kill me instead of their inteded target.) I specifically use magma wall to slow down the bosses at the sunken city and the warmaker retreat respectivly, however, for warmaker, this only gets used for the phase one part of the fight since as he gets bigger it's better to avoid going in and out of the mini maze since he can just swing through it. i tried mirror mark for those two but they really nerfed it hard. And slow fall is just for making the jump across a certain gap to get to the volcano boss easier and bypassing a huge area that is filled with enemies, which may or may not bug out and become invisible enemies. the invisibility is just for convience, but plays a big role for getting past most of the enemies in the sunken city boss room and cutting straight to the humans and three skull boss at the very back of the room. Still stuck on thag, for some reason his attacks either do very little damage to me or straight up oneshot me when he likes to do his disco attack (and sometimes spam it til i die by said oneshot), and the wights that are supposed to come out of the ground at the halfway mark are broken in a way that if you cast mirror mark they will pop out of the ground and are invincible, but will still damage your mark, and thag pays your mark no mind. the zombie fog spell works wonders, but once he's roaming around it's difficult to cast the spell without him knocking you out of your cast, and sometimes the spell fails and only spawns the fog itself (might be another wight problem my guess, not 100% sure, still have yet to solo thag as a full corrupt strength / agility / vitiality build)

there are two black ice nodes up on a nearby spire as well as 3 ice nodes that is very close to black keep and not far from the pilgrim path to the volcano if you look around behind and to the right of the main enterance to the black keep, I'd recommend placing a bedroll somewhere near there if you need a black ice farming area that also happens to be close to those two locations, it is very useful despite the fact that there is a far better black ice farming spot, however, it is farther away from black keep and the volcano enterances.

Funcom really has a smooth brain with the battle pass and messing up journey steps.

I killed the final boss on the well of skelos but I didnt get the journey step. Im going to try it again.

i like this update but ive run into the issue twice where i get held up because the journey doesnt update. for example: my step is to skin an animal to get thick hide. i killed and skinned a rhino, mammoth, elephant but the journey wont complete. very frustrating

yeah thats been annoying for sure! i think they added a fix to that recently tho. so hopefully journey's are smoother now

They have to fix this journey-system... Had it activated and made the mistake of entering the black keep through the door in the lake - I should have entered through the main gate. So I only unlocked the step on my exit, giving me the new task of finishing the dungeon...with having the tears and the heart in my inventory...

it actually bothers me sooo much! but i expected nothing less than hear pulling from these changes tbh lol

So I make this armour and on completion it has made the incorrect armour. Any ideas? Same with the golden Stygen. Only seems to happen with them.

@@illibetgaming yes it is single player. I managed to figure it out in the end. I had a mod for armour weight reduction and that was messing with it and also preventing me from dismantling as well. Thanks for the response. 👍

HEY YOU! Yeah i been a bit slack with getting on discord lately. Sons of the forest is fun. been waiting for this new update that just came out till i played it more.

Can anyone tell me why the recipe book from the dregs boss won’t spawn? I’ve cleared that dungeon several times over the course of a couple updates and I’ve literally never gotten it 😓

it is one of the buggiest dungeons. do you check in the acid pool once its drained?

I completely forgot about this Journey and didnt activate it. I did a few of these dungeons yesterday fml

haha yeah its a shame it doesnt retroactively achieve, i keep not activating steps before i do them lol. i must have killed like 20 sorcerers on my new character, before i remembered to activate that step

they still havent fixed those bugs with journey steps? wow. that sucks. i havent played much this update but used to always get that with the Archivist visit

@@illibetgaming I mean... You literally said exactly that within the first 20 seconds of the video but I had a big old laugh reading the comment in the og "Rat Kings" voice. And as an Aussie and Conan Player I guess you have to know!

cant get crap journey steps dont upgrade at some point to finish but unfuncom says our fualt geez

We need 15 minutes to explain that you just need to do all the dungeons...not even complete them.
