using the purple gauntlets you can then lift Ganon's castle, underneath which is a chest containing the pegasus boots. Use the pegasus boots to beat the running man, and he upgrades your fire arrows to lava arrows as a reward. Use the lava arrow to unfreeze Zora's domain, then speak to the Zora blacksmith who will upgrade your biggoron sword to The Blade of Time, which fires magic beams with full health that can kill Ganon in a single hit. Beat the game in this fashion and Link will acquire the Triforce in a completely secret ending in which Link and Zelda kiss and a second quest is unlocked. Beat this second quest in under an hour without getting hit once and unlock the Miyamato Wallet which holds up to 525 rupees instead of just 500 as the big wallet does. Pay the skull kid 525 rupees and he will let you into Termina. Beat Majora's Mask without getting a single item, only using your OOT stuff, and Majora's Mask will be wearing the fierce diety mask. Beat this almost impossible boss with just one hand, and the next time you play Wind Waker there will be no water in the game. Beat that without touching the controller once and get a secret URL containing all Nintendo employees stark naked. look at that for 5 minutes without masturbating and you will unlock the dark purple gauntlets which can be used in real life to lift objects 10 times your mass. go to Reggie's house and lift it up, underneath you will find a free Nintendo X and a copy of Zelda Wii U in limited edition metallic cinnamon.

+Cameron Fischer basically this is done by the glitch sequence known as RBA or Reverse bottle adventure Its counter part is obviously bottle adventure. That was discovered when someone found out that placing a bottle on B and having an item on your C right button, when turning from adult link to child link and back, would place a new item on your B button (it could be any item depending on what item was on cleft and the amount of that item you had) A guy named Kazooie I believe was his name discovered RBA when he wondered if he could manipulate what was in his inventory with his B button. Beyond that its all math and theres a lot of math, certain items have certain values and when those items add up and are duped over in a certain manner they manipulate what is in your inventory, it used to be used in any% to get light arrows early before wrong warp i believe. honestly the process of discovering BA and RBA is quite tame compared to some other glitches, especially wrong warp. That shit is fucking 1 in a million chance of happening and they happened to run into that chance and find a way to manipulate it to happening every time,

Let me help everyone who doesn't want to waste 15 minutes and can google some terms. 1. Navi dive out of forest for early Jabu-Jabu 2. Collect bombchus, use them to complete Dodongo's Cavern without getting strength upgrade from Darunia 3. Plant magic beans at the observatory in Lake Hylia 3. Play normally until you're Adult Link 4. Complete Ice Caverns, collect a fish on your way out 5. Collect weird egg in Kakariko Village, equip it on II 6. Go to fishing hole, perform Steal the Rod glitch 7. Perform Bottle on B 8. You're done. Buy a Giant's knife so you can use Master Sword again.

Don't forget not to get any ipgrade to your item limits before the glitch as it is the only way to fix things after it.

Doing all these steps have me a good reason to play this game again, and now I have the Purple Gauntlets, but now I will strive for the blue ones since I just wanted the purple set for the challenge. Thanks for the well laid out guide RareKong!

I realize this is pretty old, but from reading the description, you say you do the Master Quest version because you can get bombchus early. It is possible to get bombchus early in the regular game by going into the Bottom of the Well early and glitching your way into a room by clipping out of bounds with a Skultula. It's all ridiculously complicated, but it is possible.

Majora’s Curse TV There is two ways to get into the bottom of the well early by using different glitches kzread.info/dash/bejne/a2me29eyfLC5eJs.html (2:42 and 3:28) so maybe it's possible to do this to get bombchus in the normal version of the game.

No, people find glitches on accident over time and they start using those glitches in different places which finds more glitches etc. etc. That's how they found out how to steal the rod. They knew about the bomb glitch before the steal the rod glitch.

It's a mix of the "Steal the Rod" glitch, the "Escape the Forest" glitch and the "Ocarina Items" glitch. Each is simple enough to find and have interesting consequences, so it's not really a surprise that someone did all of them together while messing around.

Bombchu can be obtained in the original OoT from the desert sales guy after using the chicken to get over the bridge gate, avoiding the guards, and crossing the desert's sand river. Instead of purple, it's red and the order of upgrade correspondences are switched. Mido (Milo?) can be backflipped over by Adult Link.

This is the most amazing video I've ever seen in my life. My life is now complete.

A lot of these glitches have a sort of "Trickle down" effect. People don't just set out to do these things, however, people find the odd glitch here and there, maybe a break in the sequence, and try to find out what happens or what can happen from there. Then they find new glitches, which tie in to another glitch, which ties into another, and another, until you have a fun, weird process like this particular example.

It's a version of the game that got released as a bonus together with Wind Waker. In Master Quest the enemies deal more damage and the dungeons are a lot different with lots of new puzzles. Also, in the 3DS version of the game, Master Quest is mirrored for some reason.

It's actually possible in the original quest, too. You have to do a new game + glitch to start a new game with the hammer on B, and then you have to use a shitload of other glitches to do the door of time skip. Tons of fun.

Do you know the exact sequence off the top of your head, or where to find it? I'm still stumped about whether I need to use my hammer on B to kill 40 gold skulltulas or if I can just get bombchu some other way (or whether I even need bombchu to skip the bracelet in the first place, but I'm pretty confident I do).

I did! - Hammer on B with "new game plus" glitch - Kill 10 Gold Skulltulas (much easier than 40; I think it's possible to get 40 anyway, but not necessary) - Buy Adult Wallet - Get Deku Shield - Cucco seamwalk to fly over canyon into Gerudo Valley - Precise backflips/sidehops to get over gate to Haunted Wasteland (search for something like "Itemless Haunted Wasteland" for how to do this and the Cucco step) - Use Deku Shield to crouchstab for Hammer ESS - Slide over quicksand - Buy Bombchu from flying carpet salesman The rest should be simple by comparison.

This video was really helpful for me! Because of the Purple Gauntlets, I was able to get to the Fairy Fountain with the stone pillar in front of it! I probably would have done the Light Trial before even getting the Gold Gauntlets, but I haven't used that Save File in AGES!

Lol it took me 2 days to get this because I got frustrated that I couldn't do the Navi Dive glitch right. I got the purple gauntlets today and they are amazing. I had a little trouble when doing the glitch during adult. Than I realized that I didn't have the weird egg. by the time I got the egg it was almost dark so I knew i didn't have enough time. I hurried to the fishing pond and by the time I did the glitch and caught the fish with "B" it was day time and I was so relieved that I made it. =)

Yes! You just have to skip the same items as in this video. Notice that some of the bugs you have to use to skip certain items are different. The N64 version of ocarina of time has a lot of bugs that make skipping the goron bracelet possible. You'll also have to use a different way to steal the rod from the fishing pond but you should be able to find all the bugs using google. Search for Bottle Adventure, infinite sword glitch and bombchu levitation. That should give you something to work with.

GOD! You make the frakin stealing glitch look easy.

It's long because he is showing you how to get the purple gauntlets which require you to become adult Link without the Goron Bracelet strength upgrade. He also shows you all the prerequisites for the glitch, but the actual glitch itself only takes a few minutes at most.

I did it and it stinking worked!!! AWESOME

One day,i managed to get inside Dodongo's Cave without using bombs or the gauntlet.It has somenthing to do with jumping at a certain angle behind the rock or somenthing like that.Just like if you were going to jump to get the heart piece without the magic beans.Except,you would aim behind the rock or somenthing like that.Not sure if it's possible,but it happened to me only once.

i have a few Qs on how to do the glitch; which bottle did you get (does it matter which one)? which Golden Skulltula did you get (does it matter)? do you need the Hylian Shield (does it matter how)? does getting the Silver or Golden Gaunlets get rid of the Glitched Gauntlets? do you get the other secret colours the same way, just with getting the apropriate item(s)? does having the Goron's Bracelet effect getting the Blue or Black Gauntlets?

You can do this on regular file by doing the any Item on B glitch to get megaton hammer on B. then do the Start a new File With Adult Sword Glitch to open and beat dodongo's cavern as necessary. Hammer goes away if you quit or die. Saves a shitload of Jabu Time , not havin to backtrack.

@shadownadez in master quest, green and blue are the same, but unlike MQ, the non master quest has no upgrades=black, and gold=bronze. The games are also slightly different with s few chests and puzzles

In *Master Quest* it's a remade verson of the game with harder dungeons and different scenery within the dungeons, the cows are in Jabu Jabu's stomach in only Master Quest not the original.

dude if you follow the instructions you get the item and you can fix all of your items so that you can get a new colored gaunntlets that you never get and usually have to wait to the end of the game to get... i just got the green gauntlets... they look awesome

some of these glitches were common in the original zelda like the bottle on B trick. Most likely someone was just screwing around with those glitches and noticed their gauntlets had changed. Then there are the people that can read the coding and screw with the original functions, that's how they found out how to beat the n64 version in 20 minutes.

the gauntlets may be an easter egg in the game which the glitches allow you to get + a third party transfered it to the 3ds

It's always interesting to find game-breaking glitches and stuff, but this is too convoluted to do for me LOL

You can get Bombchus from a certain chest inside Jabu Jabu in the master quest version (yes, 3DS). You only get 10, though, so you have to use them wisely, but still; it's A way to get them early.

It would help if you put in the tutorial that you need to plant a magic bean, or that you need to get the scarecrow's song and hookshot so you can get to the fishing pond.

I found that out the hard way! Hahaha I pushed the grey block and now I can't do anything. It's nice to have a file with the purple gauntlets though.

just get the upgrade for color you want then do the steal the rod glitch and proceed from there. (goron: green. silver: blue. gold: black.)

This is the Master Quest Mode, which you can unlock after beating OoT 3DS once in Regular Mode, which you'll find more recognizable.
