Yea, Here too sometimes. They have discretion. the guys doing the cutting can decide to charge or not. they usually give a few free cuts. usually out here in california they will give u 1 cut / Sheet for free at least to get it in your truck.

i can only crawl in my attic, albeit using knee pads. OSB would be rough on the legs for me

@@OcRefrig they did the exact same thing with two by fours they announce that the price was going to go down. Just before the price went down they raise the price of two by fours another dollar. There was no reason to I guess it was just a gouge the customers for that one extra dollar for another week or two before lowering the price. Price of a 2 x 4 has dropped to $3.71 at my local Home Depot play San Francisco as of this morning. That’s down from $8.83 last week for a freaking 2 x 4 x 8 Six months in the Covid I raise my hourly prices $12. As of the beginning of this August I raised another $12 an hour I total of $24 an hour raise the prices within one year that is unheard of and ridiculous but that is a reaction to the prices of all materials and supplies even food. Normally it’s only 1% to 3% a year

Could this work for storage in the attic ? I heard it could mess up the isolation if installed wrong.

Have read the plywood is supposed to span at least 3 joists. Why not rip the plywood lengthwise in half making it 8' x 2'?

Too Big, Heavy & Long to work with. Going to take 2 people at that length & weight to put through an attic hole. 1/4 sheet is the sweet spot.😉 1 person can handle 1/4 sheet alone without too much trouble 👿.

ive never had a problem & im 6'1" & 250 lbs. been doing this 40 years this year. 3/4" plywood spreads the Load over a Large surface area. if your more than 300 lbs id agree with you & say no also.
