Finally someone who's curling the hair the exact direction I do. I dislike seeing people curling side hair towards face (instead of away) for volume, it doesn't make sense in my opinion. This is so much better, it creates a voluminous goddess look. Beautiful ˇˇ

I bought a cheap curling iron off of amazon. It’s by MiroPure. I use the matrix hair product line for shampoo and conditioner. I only wash my hair twice a week.

What kind of curly iron is it

My hair is very fine and even with this method, the curls would fall out eventually. So what hair spray would you recommend to help set the curls? Thank you!

Hey love! I honestly don’t use hairspray often as it weighs down the hair. But if you’re looking for a good hold I recommend the chi hairspray!

Do you ever do it on wet hair without using the curling iron and do you ever sleep on it? If you've tried it these ways what's the difference or which is your favorite? Thanks.

No I’ve never slept in anything wet except braids.

How abt teasing after the curls get done?

Bigger sections. And curl away from the face always on both sides. Leave the pins in until the hair is cooled!

Is it difficult to remove teasing? I’m always hesitant to do it because it seems tangly/damaging and hard to get out.

I brush the teasing out before I shower- but honestly my hair is so fine the tease usually comes out before then

It would be more difficult as it’s harder to make your hair flatter. It would end up looking more like a volumized beach wave

It was an old chi universe curling iron. I use the t3 single mode one now. Same results.

The hair pins are from Sally’s. I’ve had them for probably 10 years

My husband knows that I wash my hair every 4 to 5 days and it's healthy for your hair because of the natural hair oils.... I never use any dry hair shampoo I just brush my hair every day... 😄😄 I am one of those women who has crazy thick hair so when I do pin curls I use 110 pins 😄😄 yes my hair is extremely thick and it's also waist length..... I use Bobby pins not metal pins. I also curl small sections all over my hair I absolutely care about how the back of my hair looks
