In the Diary of a CEO episode with Casey at the very end he said he wished someone told him "no one cares about you" when he first started. I think it's so important to really understand that, like you are saying. It is insane how much of what we do is shaped purely by what we assume other people are thinking about us, when really they are busy thinking about themselves. I think the greatest inhibitor of creativity is the need for others to care.

This is true, I am 17 and a couple months ago I started a brand- if you're afraid of starting something don't be for this one reason. You meet more people once you show you are interested in something. I had people from work whom I didn't know that well asking about my brand because they probably saw me post about it. All of a sudden a whole new world of opportunities and projects open up from simply posting about something. The benefits truly outweigh whatever negative comment you won't remember in a year. And, if you add in what was said in the video about not caring- the time your brain allows for something to even be remembered is even shorter. So go create.
