Do you need to be a little bit inside of the platform for this to work? I've done this a couple times but I'd assume being on the outside is harder because the pole will hit you with way too much force.

It depends, if the pole is spinning really fast, then do it on the inside, if not then do it on the outside
Or you could just time it out normally 🤣

It is still possible to get on the upper pole but not on the center
