Omg what did you do?! I just got on the waitlist for NYU and I’m a bit lost if I should write a LOCI or not since they don’t ask for it

leave that out, you have to demonstrate your commitment towards that waitlisted school if you truly want to go there

I have been waitlisted in UCI and UCSD. They don't need loci. But I still want to send the email. It's that ok or helpful. Also, the format of the email should be the same as loci or different. Thank you!

Hello! I wanted to ask how do the college admissions fact check the extracurriculars we list?Because I am doing online activities right now , and I don’t know how to give evidence that I actually did them. Thank you:))

Usually they don't require hard "evidence" of them but it is important to keep integrity and tell the truth! So if you are doing these online activities that's great and you can just list them or talk about them as normal. Specificity in your writing also helps make your involvement clear.
my waitlist essay is around 800 words... is that too much?

I would try and cut down roughly 200-300 words, but that's just me personally.
