I drive a dump truck everyday for work and you can find places that take concrete/gravel, and dirt so you don’t pay to dump and lose that money. I know where I live in Texas the dump is usually pretty close to places like that.

I’m just starting lol, I’ve signed up for google and currently working on my website I’m pretty tech savvy but it is time consuming I’ve been on Nextdoor for about two days and just received our 1000 business cards so I’m following suit lol I plan on taking an entire day and just handing them out and visiting realtor buildings to give out cards and flyers. I believe the more work you put in the better the results

The funny thing I've noticed ,since I made my website back in August, is I always get calls from marketing companies trying to get me to pay for leads. I always so no because I can't afford it, but almost always after I still get a call for services.

Don’t use vista print use staples. It’s way cheaper and you can get them the same day.

Great info as always....what type of coverage do you have for your dumpsters (insurance)anything specified because you leaving it on someones property? Are people allowed to walk on your dumpster if they rent it? Just thinkn from liability stand point ....thanks in advance

I’m not %100 sure what the proper way to do it is but I was kinda just doing it occasionally so never got the insurance but for junk removal I just have general liability.

We use JRA, and we’re in Atlanta, a super competitive market. There are probably 5 companies that I know of that use them here, and they all are great companies. JRA is awesome. Google ads team and SEO is top notch. Take that step!

Craigslist is actually a great deal. It's not 5$ a day, it's for a month. Your ad stays at the top until more people post ads, so only need to post daily if there's lots of competition. Not usually the best customers come from craigslist, but still better than working for someone.

@@chrisandrews4166 the post stays up for a month. Depending on how much competition they will stay at top of list for a month, so yes it’s 5 for a month. When you have lots of competition it goes down the list quick. I’ve had post stay at top of list for the entire time for 5$

I have a marketing team that works with me and I am the only junk removal business they have, so I wonder how do they determine who does your marketing team decide to be #1 if they work for all your competitors?

You should advertise your trailer to malls and mall construction companies. The big benefit is that it’s a trailer and not a dumpster. This way it’s like parking a heavy truck in the lot and not a metal wheeled dumpster that can damage the pavement.

How do you find apartments near you I'm here from Boston Massachusetts coming out here to start a junk removal business LOL cuz the dump fees are so much cheaper

You can do anything till you get caught. The permit around here is only like $40

Yes all the time you just turn them down If there don’t want to pay the going rate.
