We talk about the details that makes 360 flashers special. Either Pro-Troll, Shortbus or even the new Brads Flashers....it's an excellent technique to catch loads of chinook and coho on a trolling setup. You can even anchor with a 360! Tyler has figured out the technique and perfected it. He catches loads of fish on the Columbia River with 360 flashers...so listen up!
Some of the details that make a huge difference are bumper and leader length. Weight size and line scope...Tyler has studied it all.

Great information! One other tip from me FWIW, first thing in the morning, I always start with a white base flasher with a stuffed bait. Chrome flashers and spinners come out later when the sun gets higher in the sky.

I’ve had similar success with white based spinners in low light situations. VIP white w/pink dot works well…at 30”

Very good interview. Would like to know more about using 360s for smaller river salmon
When you talk about chrome flashers, do you mean chrome patterns, chrome mirror, or doesn’t matter as long as it’s chrome?
The spinner pictured has a trailing hook. Is it a 1/0 and does this improve the hookup rate vs. just the treble hook especially when running on 360s?

Here in the puget sound in the canal we troll Gibbs 360s with spoons and murder chinook.
What’s the difference between a flasher with 2 fins like a Shortbus flasher and a flasher without any fins.
