Solid content. I switched to minimalist training when I had my son and haven’t looked back. For me it’s either 2 days in the gym or nothing at all. And those two days, following many of the principles you’ve outlined have been shockingly beneficial for my strength and muscle mass. If I try to be in the gym more I burnout and miss multiple months. Any more insight you can share in this realm would be great.

I'm with you on all of this. The added benefit of 2 days per week is that I'm mentally and physically recovered and ready to hit the gym with significant intensity, consistently over time. I almost never have an "off" workout. My joints also appreciate the recovery time.

Just like me, when I had kids I decided to go down to 2 days a week... Certainly the best thing I've ever done, I've been very consistent and seeing good progress.

I might recommend a follow up that takes into account those with orthopedic issues. I have a Spondy and am very conservative opting for higher volume with perfect form to minimize risk of injury.

Interesting choice for the supersets. You also don't just say supersets but specifically smart supersets. I get that you can make not-so-smart pairings, but what makes them particularly smart when compared to perhaps more typical supersets like antagonistic supersets or 2 non competing upper or lower body exercises?

Look for the basic 2 to 3 day full body workout split, this is the basic to start with but very effective
