I remember when I was a teen in the 70's we used to wear Afro' s so we would have to put platts in our hair at night and then in the morning take them out and pick out our hair to have a nice bush it seems like platting ur hair tightens up the hair and pulls on the roots the bigger Fro the longer you keep the platts in but i like your way its really fast I don't have to keep my hair braided to get my hair longer to loch it

For the first 2 weeks I did it everyday. The next 4 weeks about 2-3 times a week. And after that I’ll either do it after washing my hair or when it seems necessary. Generally 3 times a month

Back when I was in middle school I wanted dreadlocks, and I didn’t know how to twist them manually. So I spent time trying different things and this method worked. After some time I wanted to restart them cause I knew how to take care of them more!

yes you can use a brush but it only works at a certain length, like 2-3 inches

If you don’t have a sponge you can use a small towel, but it’ll only be to form each dreadlock. You’ll have to hand twist after that.

It mainly depends on how far you are into the process, and what kind of styler you put into your hair. I plan on making two videos this weekend explaining what products you should put into your hair, and how often you should wash your dreads.

I have dreads myself, and if your motivated to grow them out to locs, then from starting at that height of hair, atleast 1year and some months they will be dreading 👍 or locs

I get what you are saying but the two pictures are like a year and a half difference. If you do the steps that I say then they should look pretty similar to that within the same amount of time; depending on how fast your hair grows.

Once they lock you can undo them, but it takes like 24 hours to get them all out.
