How To Get Lean and Stay Lean For Life with Total Fitness Bodybuilding

If your diet and exercise program has a START and an END date - the results are only going to be temporary. You need to look at the process of losing fat and building muscle as a lifestyle change. There is no finish line, no end date, it's simply an on going process of small daily improvement for the rest of your life!
This is why trying to suffer it out on a short term fat loss diet plan never works over the long term. If you don't create the sustainable habits and lifestyle changes that are required to maintain a lean muscular body - you'll always regain the weight back again as soon as you stop that nose to the grindstone approach.
The good news is if you do the right things - the process of building a lean muscular body doesn't have to be stressful, or painful, and it can actually be more enjoyable than the way you're living right now.
If you don't want to be fat anymore, and are ready to make a permanent change, then make sure to listen to this podcast to the very end because we're going to share some practical tips and action steps that you can start following today to lose fat and get in your best shape - while enjoying the process.
0:58 - How the Total Fitness Bodybuilding podcast came to be.
8:00 - Jeff's physique transformation - how he lost over 70 pounds of bodyfat while building lean muscle in the process.
14:16 - The moment when Jeff finally made the identity shift to seeing himself as someone who is "In Shape" vs "A Fat Guy" and how that has impacted his life, his confidence, and career.
15:00 - The "Dirty Truth" behind most Before & After Fitness Transformations that nobody tells you.
37:42 - Overcoming Self Limiting Beliefs (i.e. success is possible for others, but I don't think it's possible for me...)
43:00 - Why "Gathering More Information" can be the biggest form of procrastination and can actually hinder your progress moving forward.
49:45 - The difference between "Getting In Shape" vs "Staying In Shape".

I've been following you since I was in highschool 12 years ago. Your home gym dumbell videos are my favourite since I only use my home gym now. I've been steadily upgrading it over the years and this year I bought a Marcy MWM988, so now I'm at a point where I can work every muscle group and make gains without having to go to an actual gym ever again.

@TotalFitnessBodybuilding I am going to start workout in gym this summer, I set a goal to lose fat as much as I can. I know I just need to keep going, be consistent. But I worried about what I need to eat, I am vegetarian, I don't know if I am going to have a good nutrition intake. Can you recommend some foods. I am really confused if I should focus more on building muscle or cardio. Right now I stretch, do muscle training, then 10 mintue treadmill. Thank you soo much for the awesome videos and advices. I wish you good luck on starting the podcast.
