Hi J: No, in my view referrals are highly overrated. They may help you to get screened if your CV had not been "good enough" start the recruiting process by yourself. However, once you're in the game, you have to go through the same steps as everybody else, without any advantage. I actually know a case where the founder of Roland Berger, Roland Berger himself, had made a referral, but the referred candidate did not make it through the interviews.

Hi there! A bit difficult to give complex coaching advice through a KZread comment! "How to apply for it" - you need to check the BCG website and select which office you want to submit your application to. Usually, you then need to upload your application documents to a database.
