I used to ask 100% hike and they offered me around 50-60% and then based on that offer I asked again 40-50% until I reached my desired number.
bhai I am workings in ETL project mostly as a support with some developments in pl/sql programming . Can you tell how I can switch to data engineer field . I have 8 yrs of experience in pl/sql development and Support.

It can be different for different people. But you can do one thing, if you are in office and if it has multiple floors then go to the floor where many people doesn't know you. You can book some meeting room also

@@safashaikh2894 if u are above average in SQL , i would suggest u to practice Leetcode Medium SQL questions ( thats what is mostly asked ) , also prepare for Python questions from leetcode also know libraries like Pandas , Numpy , Matplotlib , Seaborn etc...and know concepts of Tableau , Excel , DBMS , Power BI and start giving interviews
