Great video. I have had grease fittings that would not let the grease go through it also. I love your little cut away fitting. That was well explained for someone who didn’t know how they worked.

Thx to watching your video I figured out why one of the grease zerks on my BH77 backhoe wouldn't take grease. It had paint on it but I couldn't see it for the grease on it. Works great now. 👍

Thanks man. Appreciate your videos. Have a double-cardan joint on the rear driveshaft of my stretched TJ on 40's that can be tricky. Have to align the driveshaft just right and use a needle greaser with a hardened tip to hit the sweet spot. OK, that sounded a little creepy. Happy trails!

Lol you got to do what you got to do.

What causes MOST of the fittings NOT to take grease is they have pumped dirt and sand INTO the fitting. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS take a rag and clean the fitting BEFORE you ever put the grease gun on a fitting. If you do not you WILL pump dirt and sand into the fitting that will clog up the fitting plus over time it will damage the U-joint, pin or whatever you are greasing.

Another common problem is a grease-worm infestation.

You unscrew the zerk fitting and screw in a new one...wipe the old dirty grease off before pushing new grease in...
