@Easwaran Chandrasekaran SAIC sources there engines from Fiat they do that for all there cars MG Astor, MG Hector and MG Gloster the source is Fiat refinements are done in house like all manufacturers do

Engine efficiency also matters. Your turbo example, BMW examples are also not right......those examples do not make any point here and are not fitting well in explanation. If engine is not efficient then sensible driving also does not help. Also check power to weight and torque to weight also to determine if Astor is really under powered or not. Also in most of the cases, same capacity turbo engines are more efficient and are capable of producing better power and efficiency if driven with discipline as how they burn fuel is little bit different. I have driven and experienced all these cars and even Grand Vitara(least powered engine) is quicker than Astor......not just because of weight only but due to transmission and how engine delivers power.

@Rajnish Singh point noted I don’t know which Astor you are driving however know this Astor when released was not a race car but a family car for a fact turbo will always consume fuel efficiency in the end is always in the hands of the driver. Without the driver even the best efficiency mechanism will be useless correct me if I am wrong you as per your last comment in a previous video claimed you own a MG Astor Savvy right I reckon with all your feedbacks of the Astor I think you need to sell and buy something more as I point you are failing to understand without a drive behaviour none of the cars on this planet can be efficient regardless of the tech managing it and one more point turbo will burn more fuel period

@@YwithIndi Please read my comment again, I never claimed that I own MG Astor. I booked MG Astor and it is not yet delivered. In parallel, also booked others cars also. Astor is a good car but information provided is not correct.

@Rajnish Singh also do remember all manufacturers take a lot of pride and put in a lot of hard in building a car any manufacturer and all of them try there best to make all customers happy regardless of the car you buy however i as a driver and believe have driven almost all cars from vintage to latest can assure you we as customers love comparing however forget each and every manufacturer out there builds a car to sell however not each and every customer is going to be appreciative. Heck up until 6 years ago customers never bothered about safety or reliability or power but here we are 6 years on and counting as we move into the hybrid and electric phase of automobile production thanks though love your comments

@Rajnish Singh like said correct me if I am wrong on you owning a Astor the information provided of the Astor is based on my experience of almost 12,000 Kms and 3 services as well as 1 and half year of owning it like you I am sharing my experience with the MG Astor and as per your information which is based on driving on test my experience is based on living with a MG Astor and driving it everywhere please go through the channels videos and you will find our journey mind you I am not paid by MG however I appreciate what a car I have bought and sharing my experience of it

@@YwithIndi Let me tell you, I am a car enthusiast and spend hours daily in reading about automobile only since long ago. I have also worked with one of the top automobile manufacturers in the world as senior IT consultant sitting in their offices in Europe and India. Have visited their R&D plant outside India and directly interacted with engineers who were involved in planning and design. Already experienced and driven many cars just because of my interest.

@Rajnish Singh don’t bother googling it I will give a information that you want find easily all companies barring Germans and American companies pick up there engine from Fiat which is the largest engine manufacturer in the world this is a fact if you are a car enthusiast you should know this I personally love your criticism every now and then as you say you are a subscriber I love your engagement seriously but please go ahead and name the company that the engines come from as to build engines it is very costly and most manufacturers pick up the same technology in engines to save costs also Kia and Hyundai buy the same platform of engines from Fiat and assemble it based on there requirements for there vehicles.

@Rajnish Singh FYI also Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Seat also build there own engines car companies like Lamborghini also from the very start when moved out of making Tractors sourced there engines externally Fact do you know that it is not every company has a engine manufacturing department they have to outsource even in formula 1’s Ferrari the parent company of Fiat provides its engines to other race car teams so finally We when speak know our facts as we do our jobs of cross checking the fact please go ahead and let us know which company does the engines come from
