How To Get From Marco Polo Airport To Your Hotel In Venice
How to get from Marco Polo airport to the city Centre? Venice is beautiful, but it can be a very frustrating place to visit. In Venice, there are no cars or buses, and the only way to move in the city is by walking or boating.
This video will assist you in knowing your way around this small crowded city.
Venice public transportation:
To get around Venice at night you have 3 options: walking, a water bus, or a water taxi.
Walking in Venice is the best way to enjoy the sights of the city, but with suitcases, Even if it is a short walk, you will have to lift them on the bridges, so bring light luggage.
Our hotel is a 1.5 km of walk from the main bus station, we decided to check out if it is possible to do it.
If you want to avoid carrying your luggage, the best option is by water taxi which will take you to your destination in the city.
cost about 35-80 euros depending on the time you arrived.
An alternative is Venice Water Bus night service - Vaporetto - line N, operating from midnight until five in the morning.

The one-way ticket fare for a Vaporetto ride is 9.5 euros which remains valid for 75 minutes from the first validation of the ticket.

Absolutely best way, just book a water taxi. You can usually add an extra 30 min grand canal cruise. Might as well arrive in style!

Very helpful video We arrive at Marco Polo airport at around 8.30pm, and after clearing immigration & customs it could be 9.30pm Will we have enough time to catch the water bus / Vaporetto ? We plan to stay San Marco / Castello area

Very good info, BUT the vaporetto doesn't work all night. There are some lines that works but less frequent and not all the lines...

The buses from the airport to Venice main station runs 24 hours, but inside Venice there are no busses.
