Before watching this video i opened a date palm seed bcs it had root for like 4 months and not sprouting so i opened it and the seed root was longer than the one shown in this video by 3 times.

Hello, are you sure at 100 % that the shape of the seed determines the gender ? Have you checked an adult Deglet Nour date palm after have made it from a seed ? Have you ever tried with other Phoenix palms, like Phoenix canariensis or Phoenix atlantica ?

ভাই আমিও জানতাম আম্বার সবচাইতে বড় জাতের খেজুর। কিন্তু দেখলাম মেডজুল তার চেয়েও বড়।মাটির ভিন্নতার কারণে কিছু কিছু জায়গায় মেডজুল বড় আবার কিছু কিছু জায়গায় আম্বার বড়। মূলত দুইটাই বড় জাতের খেজুর।

হলুদ কালারের কাঁচা খেজুরের জাতটির নাম "বারহি"। আর লাল রংয়ের কাঁচা মিষ্টি খেজুরের নাম খানেজি/খুনাইজি। ধন্যবাদ।

বাংলাদেশ বিচি কিনতে পাওয়া যায় না। তবে বাজারে এখন ভালো মানের যে খেজুর পাওয়া যায়। ঐ খেজুরের বিচি লাগালেই হবে।

ভাই মেলচারা ফেমেল দুইটা নেই তবে একটা চারা আচে যদি ফেমেল হয় তাহলে কি খেজুর আসবে

Good, pls let me know male give dates or female tree give dates? 2nd. Tree purchase is easy orr from seeds grow? 3rd,its take 5,6 year to get young and to give dates. So why not purchase tree and grow?

Only female tree give us date.Male trees need only for pollination. do you want date cultivation commercially, I recommend you to plant tissue culture or offshoot date seedlings/saplings. Do you want date cultivation only family purpose you can plant by seed. very lots of thanks for your valuable comments.

বড় জাতের খেজুরের মধ্যে আম্বার, এবং মেডজুল অন্যতম। বীজ বিক্রয় হয় কিনা আমার জানা নেই। তবে ঢাকার বিভিন্ন সুপার মার্কেটে বা ফলের দোকানে এই খেজুর পাওয়া যায়।৫/৭বছর পর্যন্ত বড় কনটেইনারে রাখা যায়।

You will get another problem, while all your plants are female, they can never be the same strain, the fruit produced will be in different varieties, 70 - 80 are low quality, if you are lucky you will get a new and good varieties (1% of total plants. Better forget about this idea, time consuming and less effective.

ভাই,আমার আজওয়া ও মারিয়াম দুই জাতের মোট ১২ টি গাছ আছে।এদের মধ্যে ৭টি আজওয়া ও ৫ টি মারিয়াম আমি যদি একটি আজওয়া male রাখি এবং মারিয়ামের কোন male না রাখি তাহলে আজওয়ার male দিয়ে কি মারিয়ামের পরাগায়ন হবে?

হ্যাঁ ভাই একটি মেল খেজুরের চারা রাখলেই হবে। এটা যে কোন জাতের হতে পারে কোন সমস্যা নাই।

হবে, তবে প্রত্যেকটি জাতের ফিমেল গাছে পরাগায়নের জন্য তার ঐ জাতীয় মেল গাছ দিয়ে পরাগায়ন করলে খেজুরের মান ১০০%ঠিক থাকে।যেমন ১০টি ফিমেল অাজয়া গাছের জন্য ১টি মেল আজয়া,১০টি মরিয়ম গাছের জন্য ১টি মরিয়ম মেল গাছ,এভাবে যদি আপনি পরাগায়ন করতে পারেন তাহলে খেজুরের কালার গুনগত মান সাদ এবং সাইজ ১০০%ঠিক থাকবে।
