If you use a TT setup and then go racing MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS! I learned the hard way. OPEN YOUR GMFD Radiator. Most of those setups have 10% radiator opening to increase performance. However, long, 30+ or even 1 hour or longer stints will not only be difficult but impossible leading you to blower your engine. Always double-check the radiator before going out.

oh also apply a little bit of toe out to these setups to save your tires. If you do enduro or "real" length races.

FOR PEOPLE NOT SEEING A WRENCH. WHEN YOU PICK YOUR GHOST LOOK OVER TO THE RIGHT OF THEIR NAME AND TIME AND YOU WILL SEE NOT ALL ALLOW YOU TOO COPY THE SET UP ONLY THE ONES WITH A WRENCH NEXT TOO THE NAME AND TIME. HOPE THAT HELPS 😁

We need more of these. As I come from rally games background, I understand basics, like camber, caster, toe in/out... But other things are more or less useless to fiddle in rally games, so I don't understand them.

If u can get ur hands on lets say some version of gran turismo like 6 or sport... theres realy heavy emphasis on setups or at least i managed to figure a lot of stuff out trying to drify on controller. I know its simcad.ey.. but some settings are pretty general. Cambers, moving the mass center of gravity forward or bacward by messing wt ride heights, lsd settings and anti roll bars... its all there and works almost the same from gt6 to sport to assetto corsa and some even in acc. Understeer is understeer no matter what u drive. Rally or f1 or gt it does prety much tue same. :)

Am2 has such broad range of vehicles its kind of hard to do a one stop shop video for those settings... it has all these classic open wheels, old cars, gt cars... im guessing each has many own quirks, as im also just trying to drive default setups for know till i get with grasp with the game engine.. But unlike acc this game even on slowest oponents, i seem to be severely slow with these default ones. No matter if i race gt brasil stock car or open wheel ..

Nice Video! I cant choose a setup from the Time Trail for the Formula Ultima. For the Formula Reiza i can do this... Can you Tell me why?

Either; it's at a track too long to save a ghost replay (nearly all of the Nordschleife tracks) or it's for a combination no one has set a time for yet

Good news: The physics are now where they need to be and Reiza has announced that they will remain stable for the most part.

I don't have the wrench icon ... am I doing something wrong?

Most of the top tier setups are set to private. So if you're searching for a suiting setup you should add some ghosts and hope that one of them set their setup to public.

The wrench doesnt show up for me all the time?

@Rubberneck Rides it does i just did it. When you pick a ghost make sure the ghost has a wrench next to the time and name then when you load the track and ghost you will now see a wrench click it and your done.

Try this..... Select car Formula Ultimate. Select track Interlagos. Try and use someone's ghost as you explained in the video. Do you know why it won't work? Seems to be much the same problem on any track, but does seem to be an issue with only the Formula Ultimate car. I noticed most people's times usually have a car icon next to the wrench, but with Formula Ultimate this seems to be missing. Any ideas what this means? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated 🙂

@@meecob You click on the wrench and you should get a "continue" message pop up; that means the setup is loaded. After that just click on "Save"; by default it comes up with the name of the person who did the setup but you can change it to whatever you like - then you can load that setup outside of the time trial. (If you're at a different track from the where the setup was made, you have to click on "all setups" or "all tracks" (not sure which it is called) to see the setup you've saved.)

does this still work? i don't see a wrench icon. if this is outdated advice... not a very helpful video

@NoobDaddyRaces when you pick a ghost not all will have a wrench next to the name so when you pick one pick one with a wrench beside it in the list of times then when you start it should now have a wrench to click

You need to understand ARB, 30 years of experience says no to your idea. ARB is your go to tweak for mid corner adjustment

And he still managed to forget to mention that you need to pick a ghost with a wrench symbol or else you won't get to load their setup. Its why the comment section is full with people who tell him it doesn't work anymore...
