looks so good and authentic! love that era for styles, women looked so good then-the hair and minimal makeup if any and clothes..

Been wanting to get 70s hair. Just attempted my own curtain bangs. They looked better than I thought they did initially once I washed and dried my hair. But then I was like “oh wait, my hair is completely flat and I have no idea how to do 70s waves without rollers”. This is the most helpful video I’ve seen so far, and I rlly needed one that used a straightener! About to attempt this

I had no idea how much work was involved with this. As a boy I have always taken a #1 clipper guard and do the sides and back, #3 on the top and blend in the rest. I can’t imagine doing this every day!

Not weird at all I’d say for me since my hair is more on the long side it lasts like this for a day and the next 2 days is wavy/slightly curly

I have medium hair in thickness so I use 320-350 degrees with my hot tools! Also having layers helps a lot with holding curls because there’s not so much weight!

Does anyone know if you can create this look with Flexi rods? I can’t curl my hair for shit with a flat iron or a curling iron

I think it is achievable! Keeping the same angles and directions of the curls and shaking it out then combing into the flip

The face framing layers is the most important for the feathered look. Your hair can be super long or pretty short but the face framing is the key!

Thank you!! I have better luck with the foam rollers than the Velcro rollers. Yes just roll them away from your face at an angle, fluff them out and should be pretty similar! I will definitely look into doing a video with the rollers!
