Caution for those trying "it ain't easy being green" on the Master Collection version of MGS3: After following the guide to the letter, that particular trophy did not pop upon shooting the last kerotan (received Kerotan emblem/rank on results screen). It was only after beginning a new game and shooting the first one again that the trophy popped. Definite bug. Be careful.

are there any bugs with the snake eyes achievement? i did it for all the cutscenes that needed it, but didn't get the achievement. i got the rest fine though (except the foxhound rank one, but I knew I wsasn't getting that one anyway)

​ I guess there are many bugs there I did that too and any trophy I tried after saving won't show up I don't know why I did catch the rear snake from my first play and kept it till the end and I didn't get the the trophy for it.. I guess I need to do each trophy each time and no need to save ever which gonna make it harder and time consuming even very easy 😅 I hope I'm wong but that what happens with me I haven't started the second play through because I felt so bad not getting the trophies I should've got from my first play 😅

Great guide, cheers mate! Edit: A few pointers to fellow trophy hunters: * You can hold R1 throughout the entire cutscenes if you're worried about missing the timing regarding "Snake eyes" . * If EVA kills a guard post-motorbike section it does not count towards your kills, i.e. still good to go for "Peace Walker". * Quick kill the Fear by using fake-death pill, wait for him to come up and turn around, use revival pill. Throw a stun grenade at his feet and then spray him with the AK. For some reason, when enemies are stunned, lethal force does stamina damage. * You can CQC the Boss for a quick and easy fight; when she runs at you, there will be a "swooosh" sound and an exclamation mark will appear briefly over Snake's head, at which point you press circle (Playstation) firmly to counter. Then, you can CQC slam her by pressing circle firmly again while holding the control stick in any direction. The timing is quite unforgiving, but easy to predict. However, sometimes she fakes you out by dodging before grabbing you so that you wind up punching the air.

How do i move a guard using CQC , everytime i grab a guard and try to move i ended up throwing him or cutting his neck

@@davidcamilo8577 It's pressure sensitive; tap and hold the button very lightly to avoid killing them. Also, don't hold a direction on the contol stick until after Snake has the knife pulled out and points it at the guards throat, because if you move the stick before this animation has finished it will result in a CQC slam. It's quite awkward and takes some practice. Alternatively, you could CQC slam and move them while they're unconcious.

You don't need to alert guards to get the "Don't touch the sides" trophy as you will get shot by the Boss anyway, and have to do it then.

You should be good all the cobra unit usually show up regardless if you non lethal or not

Thanks for the guide, really helped alot. Unfortunately I somehow missed 2 trophies, Fashionista (didn't realise reloading your previous save cancels the camo you picked up, so I lost a few) also missed Peace Walker trophy, at the end it says I killed 1 person, no idea how! My best guess are the floating car guys near the end, I guess if even if you tranquilised them and they crash and explode it counts as a kill. Just something to keep in mind for anyone else having issues with these two trophies. Thanks for all the help none the less.

It took a lot to subdue Ocelot in the opening cutscene. His men were knocked out in 1 hit or throw while Ocelot was pistol whipped 3 times and thrown to the ground 3 times and he still didn’t pass out right away.

Trying to go for 100% completion and this is an amazing guide and helped me through all the tricky parts of the mission and finding items in places I would've never looked. My only question is how do you start with max ammo (41/41 on the Mk22) I've beaten the game on every difficulty, started NG+ etc etc. and every new run im always 25/25 and I cant find anything online about it

Hey man. If I hold an enemy in a choke hold. And I tap the hold button does that kill them or just permanently stun them? Am I just supposed to hold the choke hold for a while? What if I accidentally put them to sleep whilst dragging them? Before I get to question them? Can I wake them up again and if I do won’t that alert or ruin the non alert “point”.

Can I do the peace walker one on a new game plus save?

Finished the game didnt get the kerotan achievement or the burd or fungus and THEN realised you HAVE to do it in a single run and it's not optional and those birds and fungus were in virtuous mission aaaaaaggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

This is for the regular hd collecting btw. This won’t help get you every trophy in the master collection version. There’s a 6th snake eyes in the last cutscene. Hold r1 while big boss salutes the boss

They dont as long as you tranq them. shooting them with a lethal gun will void the no kill run.

You forgot to say that you have to complete the game with Tschko snake in the cage to get Infinitie Face Paint. Thank you so much for this, after 11 hours of getting everything, this was all I needed. Hands down for you. Two trophies failed to go platinum .
