im pretty sure the cutscene at the end is a teaser for the content of the big update they are doing, as a lot of the screenshots od the cutscene have characters related to currently unobtainable badges

No, the soap shoes are a different one, its a monster Hunter skin

so basically what it is, it's a teaser/what's going on with the new sonic universe event that's coming after the revamp. this is all lore to the sonic universe event/revamp and you can find chapters and books hidden around the map
