Really appreciate your videos. I work in a super small design team (in a not-for-profit) with far less formalized systems and processes. Seeing how things are done in more mature design teams is very valuable! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

What advice would you have for a designer that either struggles to schedule a time to get feedback or critique from other designers or struggles with the feedback they receive? In a perfect world, we’re collaborating and happily giving and receiving feedback without ever taking offense to the critique of our work. What I’ve seen however is that some do struggle to get feedback and some struggle to not take feedback personally. What advice would you have for them?

Thank you Fem, now I understand the differences between a design Crit and design Review at your work place. Do you have design crits during work hours? because I see it very difficult to be implemented at my job, it would probably have to be after work or weekends.

@@femkedesign lucky you Femke ... u got best of both the worlds with dutch passport .. I am originally from visakapatnam , India (actually a dutch colony back in the day ).. moved to London longtime ago.. yp Brexit messed things up for us here.. or researching doing a nomad career living in Bali or somewhere and taking remote design jobs ... but again graphic /branding jobs are easy to get .. not sure if remote UX jobs are feasible u see

I originally wanted to go straight into product design (I like the idea of creating products/solutions for the physical world) but not keen on a 4 year diploma route. Now I'm looking at he UX Design route. I'm located in Vancouver, BC.
