Before aroma, people installed themes by overwriting the actual parts where the home menu is stored, thankfully we do memory patches with sdcafiine now but before it had a chance of bricking the console

the reason you have to apply ips patches is because sharing your men.pack files is actually illegal

It's not. it's because if you try to use a Men.ips from another console, it will make a loud noise then turn off.

Cool I didn't know the Wii U had custom themes! I already have a hacked Wii U so I might try that.

After patching my themes & creating all the folders, my sdcaffeine won’t load automatically when i boot my wii u. I already have it automatically running in aroma so clicking health & safety gives me just that.

Mf i just siftlocked my theme to be black and blue i think

I remember when I've themed my 3DS for Sonic Boom Home Menu Theme in 2022 and Shadow the Hedgehog Theme in last year 2023 and I'll keep it because it's obvious in Fearless Year of Shadow!
