Most places are reporting it as the increased # battled just gives you MORE rerolls, so 6 rerolls at 500, 5 rerolls at 300, etc.

Shiny hunting is NOT fun. I remember with my shiny charm in Pokemon X whilst doing Masuda method, 8 hours of breeding my vulpix a day. It took me 3 months to get 1 shiny, and it wasn't the nature or max IVS so I had to keep going. It wore me the hell out.

After doing the battle combo I can answer that question: - You can save and sleep your game but don't turn off the game (it will break the chain) - Don't fight any other pokemon other than the one you're hunting - running away from an accidental encounter will still keep the chain and will not break it

That's cuz he's seeing about half of the method, Nintendo released a statement about it. Just battle 500 of that Pokemon and shiny charm helps, but there is no combo so don't worry about it.

If you're still hunting something and you're having a hard time with it take a break and Hunt something else for a little bit, I Hunted Litwick for about a month then decided to take a break and hunt a random Pokemon and got a shiny in under 30 eggs, If you're having a hard time just take a break and try to have fun with it, "laughs in non shiny slowpoke"

The irony is I've been breeding a Milcery for a few days now and I finally hatch a shiny in the last 10 seconds of this video.

Too bad his info is wrong. The number of pokemon caught/defeated increases the number of extra rolls.. ( at 500 being 6 rolls ) Which would be about 1/500 like he said BUT without the chain there is no extra rolls. And it doesn't cap at 2 like stated. So at a 25 chain with 500 defeated you have a 33% chance for a 1/560 chance NOT a flat 1/560 You would only be getting it 1/3 of the time so in reality your odds are more like 1/1600 at a 500 + 25 chain. Thanks for spreading miss information for easy clicks though.. you can't even copy other people's research properly 🙄 also you should give credit to the person in which found the info.

It's always been hard to get shines but with dexit my go-to shiny breeding friend has decided to not bother shiny breeding this gen. Her (insane and amazing) goal was to breed one shiny of every pokemon. She was up to around 350 in ORAS. 620 in USUM. So thanks for the vid. If I want shines I'm gonna have to do it myself.

Disclaimer! I would also recommend farming Leppa Berries just to be safe!

SteffanieVlogs my recommendation is to go with something with high spawn rates in the wild! Just caught my first ever shiny rolycoly day 2 of the game by grinding route 3 in a small patch of grass with high spawn rate rolycoly

I love how they got rid of megas and primals then made zacian and zamazenta basically the same with the rusted sword and shield

I have a lot of shinies, and my first shiny was an ACCIDENT. I was breeding for a Snivy in sun and moon, and it was my 1ST ever egg I would hatch, and my 1ST egg that was Snivy, WAS SHINY. Also, I have 3 Shiny Magikarps that we’re in RAIDS.

Finally got dreepy after 4 hours, i didnt know rain and thundering where 2 different types of weather so half the time was wasted

I used masuda method (without shiny charm) and after around 270 bred rowlets i finally got a shiny one. Happiest pokemon experience ever as it was my first shiny i actually worked for. The first legit shiny i got was a pikachu but i barely had to do any work, after like 5 or 6 pikachu max raid battles i got a shiny. I put more than 15 hours into the rowlet though.

I have killed more than 2 thousands rolycoly and I finally got it yesterday ( I have been hunting for it since the game bassically came out)

I’ve bred two shinies through the Masuda method so far, a galarian ponyta and a dreepy. The shiny ponyta was my third egg hatched, while my dreepy was probably close to the 300th, but they were both quite easy to get, specially considering I don’t have the shiny charm yet!

I found a solrock farm and am I using it to get my first shiny! I am on a 50 or 60 streak. I have battled 68 total! The grind is ROUGH Edit: I justgot to550 solrock

The first shiny I got was in Black 2 and it was a Pidove. I thought the game was broken and I turned the NDS off lol
