There is a similar glitch on the mobile port of sonic 2 where if you break a monitor and as sonic is transforming go into debug mode... You'll be normal sonic with a yellow color pallet, and it looks cool ngl.

I discover new glitch at the end of green hill act 2 or even every zone like act 1 or even not at the end too! 1: go to the debug menu 2: place an s monitor and break it 3:click the debug mode when your gonna turn super tails or sonic or everyone like this 0:34 to 0:37 4: go down and turn off debug mode and tails died but turn super after that the game/monitor freeze but tails can move and jump!

What you need to do is drown yourself, but before Sonic leaves the screen after dying, activate Debug mode. Then, move to a point out of the water and switch back to Sonic.

Just scroll through the Debug Mode items until you get to the item monitor, then scroll through the monitors using an alternate button until you get to the S monitor.
