My cat actually likes this too, he purrs away and pulls my hand back to him and rubs his head on my hand when we do this. Occasionally a little love bite too but mostly just purrs and head boops.

My cat will run ahead of me and plop down in front of me to get some belly rubs.

One of my cats literally goes heels over head for belly rubs. And if I don't give her a belly rub she then proceeds to follow me around the house and does a weird somersault in front of me and demands belly rubs.
