It is absolutely possible to receive an Aussie job offer from India. I was sponsored by my employer back in 2019 on a 482 visa to work as a teacher in regional Aus. Along with me, my family was also sponsored, visa fees were paid , with contribution to flight tickets and relocation incentive allowance. Additionally, I was able to transition from a temporary visa to permanent residency. An applicant for a teaching job must have their IELTS scores 8877 ready, in addition to references from schools/principals.

@@godofgamez3092 Even if skills assessment is not required for 482, for the purpose of teacher's registration, the teacher registration body usually asks for IELTS 7788. For instance, Queensland College of teachers requires it. Please contact the teacher's reg authority of the state in which the school is located to confirm this. A teaching registration is mandatory and a pre-requisite for employer's nomination approval and visa application. In the visa application, there is a section where, in lieu of the AITSL skills assessment, you have to provide evidence of teacher's registration. Hope this helps.

I know of no such consultancies, sir. I applied directly. I don’t think any agency can get you a work visa. If a company wants to hire you, it will hire you anyway

In South Australia you will never get permanency in state schools. The best you can hope for is a contract (rarely full time) that lasts for a year. Don't believe the bullshit on here.

Hi Sir, if you’re looking for a work visa like 482, the only option is to keep applying and reaching out to the relevant people. Very less companies would be ready to provide you this visa, but they are there. If you feel your skill set is niche, then please keep patience and keep applying. Also check the skilled occupation list (provided in video description) to see if your profile qualifies for such kind of a visa

Wow..that's a really informative video for those planning to move to Australia. I'm here in Sydney on 482 for around 2 years now. What are the chances you see currently for companies willing to do sponsorship transfer for 482 or interested to do PR sponsorship on 186? I don't see recruiters usually ready to proceed with interview process when they discover that you're staying on sponsored 482. What are your thoughts?

Hey, thanks for reaching out. You are right, they are reluctant to apply for your 482 visa (it has to be reapplied, cannot just be transferred from one employer to another) and for PR also. But although difficult, I have seen it happening for some people. Are you not thinking of applying for PR on your own?

Hey, thanks for reaching out. Absolutely, you can! There is open work permit for 482 dependants. But a couple of caveats - Some recruiters may expect you to be in the country for moving ahead with your application. Some might be okay, provided they know you are landing in the country soon. In India, we generally have notice period of 2-3 months, whereas here it’s 2-3 weeks, so they expect you to join within those timelines. My partner also got many interview calls, but they expected him to either be in the country or join immediately in a couple of weeks. Hope this helps. Let me know if any further information is needed. Also, when you are trying to reach out to people or applying for jobs here, clearly mention in your resume that you require no work sponsorship.

Hi Sir, thanks for commenting. I believe your question is somewhat around on-site job opportunity within the same company. That’s possible but it depends highly on the company and your role (if you being on site would add any value to the company’s business). There are 3 things you can check: 1. Please check in your company’s internal job posting portal to check if there’s a vacancy for your role in Australia. 2. check if there’s a team in your domain already there in Australia. 3. If u know that there is a spot for you here, Keep expressing your interest of wanting to get on site exposure to your manager. Hope this helps
