I wish the devs gave us a percentage or some type of info on how many chances specifically, hypothetically, would get you a halo. Because I wish we knew if it was a 1/100 chance or 1/1000 or whatever it just doesn’t particularly feel fair to waste time on something with no clue what that time actually affects in your life.(I’m just salty that I’ve done 57 adventures and still have nothing despite grinding like a machine.)

Just one thing to point out, the chance does not increase linear to the amount of times you wish. Just because you wish twice does not mean your chance has doubled. The individual chance stays the same, but even though the probability of winning once out of those two trials increases by a little, it is not to the same proportion as the number of times you wish. So wishing 5 times does not quintuple the probability of winning

So what exactly does that mean? Like, the percentage of a high chance of winning a halo when wishing into the fountain doesn’t change no matter how many times you wish per day? If that’s the case then, how often do you have to wish into the fountain to increase chances of winning? Like, does that chance of winning a halo increase if you wish like 70 times per week but it’ll only be by a small amount?

@@Blitz_Glam8322 Each time, the chance stays the same. If you flip a coin twice, the probability on the second time is still 50/50. However the more times you do something, the higher the chance overall of winning. Which is why the more times you play the lottery, the greater your chance of winning in total. The chance is still the same each time you play, but because each time you're trying your luck, that will increase your total chance. But when Bea said if you wish twice, your probability doubles, that isn't true because that would mean if you flip a coin twice, on the second time you have a 100% probability of getting both a heads and a tails which is impossible. Instead it doesn't increase proportionally. So if you flip two coins, the probability of getting at least 1 head is 75% (because there are 4 outcomes: head-head, head-tail, tail-tail & tail-head, because 3 out of 4 of those outcomes have a head, that means the chance of getting at least one head is 3/4 or 75%). So basically wish as much as possible, but just know you are not increasing your chance to any guaranteed amount because that would require wishing thousands of times which is impossible considering how little time halos are available for

A person who has wished twice is twice as likely to have a halo than a person who bas wished once. Let’s assume the chance of winning a halo is 0.01%. A person who wishes ten thousand times is ten thousand times as likely to have won a halo than a person who wishes once. And because 0.01 times ten thousand is 1, your theoretical chance of winning a halo once you’ve wished ten thousand times is 100%. But that is only what would happen if all of those events were the same event, which is not the case. So yes, your theoretical percentage of winning a halo does double if you wish twice as often, and that is the only percentage that is possible to measure, so there isn’t a reason not to. Fun fact: if you wished non stop every two hours every day of the week, you would not have a theoretical 100% chance of winning until you’ve wished for two years. I’ve played for six years and I don’t even wish once a day. My theoretical chance of having won by now is 7%. At my current rate, it will take me more than 70 years to reach 100%. But of course you can win a halo before then, and 7% is pretty good. I can expect a halo soon enough.

​@@koibubbles3302 That is not how probability works. Your theoretical probability after x number of trials is never 100%. The only way for it to ever reach 100% is to wish an infinite number of times, and that is impossible. No, your probability does not double by doubling the number of trials. Again, if that was the case, if I got a heads by flipping a coin yet I wanted a tails, that means I have a 100% probability on the next coin flip of getting a tails. You can test that for yourself. I think we both know that is not accurate to reality. Your cumulative probability does increase with trials, but it isn't twice, or three times. If you wish 10,000 times with a 0.01% chance of winning, you have a 63.23% chance of winning by the end of those 10,000 attempts.

I gave up on winning halos a long time ago. I stopped caring about winning them. It just seems to me that KZreadrs like you are the lucky ones. Not hating whatsoever, just saying it’s based on luck and not a lot of people have that on their side

i’ve been playing for 5 years and have NEVER won a halo before 😭 i don’t even have the free christmas angel halo because i could never complete the advent calendar due to personal reasons idk how to trade properly so my best bet of getting a halo is by winning it praying for the winter halo, i’m an ice fairy and i’m DESPERATE 🤞

The way it makes me feel soo unlucky.. I made an alt account a couple of months back, coz i wanted an account exclusively for saving up (it helped).. Anyways, i do fountain there DAILY and ALWAYS pick the halo answers.. Not one single halo, since people say new players always win the halos..guess i am just that unlucky then.

thank u! i first joined rh in 2017, but I haven't been much of an active player until now. I have never won I halo, but I did own the spring halo 2020 but I sold its while saving for the new school. I never cared for trying to win halos, but trying much harder now, especially since I absolutely love all of the most recent halos.

imo halos should actually be super common and everyone should be given one in the same way that everyone has a pair of wings corresponding to their elemental magic halos are great for customization and finishing outfits and some of us don't have the time to constantly roll our luck on the fountain, so this would be a nice alternative "oh but the values of them will go down!!!!" so? we really shouldn't have to dedicate hours to farming, trading, what-have-you just to get a halo anyway

@@Chaerly personally i don't think royale high should revolve solely around trying to get halos? actually i have an idea for entire rework of the gameplay and class/element/magic system (which also included halos) but that'd take too long to type out in a youtube comment also this is all theoretical. there's no way this would ever actually get implemented

hey i just wanna say, the percent chance does not actually increase the more times you use the fountain, this sort of idea is known as the gambler's fallacy. HOWEVER, you do have more INDIVIDUAL chances to win a halo the more often you do it, and it does help to try often. I have been playing rh for 4-ish? years now, and was using the fountain every day but had never won a halo. only until a couple weeks ago did i finally win a halo. how? by wishing at the fountain literally WHENEVER i got a chance. i started using the fountain up to 4 times a day to give myself more chances to win. so don't give up even if you've been playing a long time and haven't won one, if you use the fountain regularly and always pick the correct answers, it might surprise you when you least expect it B)

I basically sold half my inv once trying to save upwards to get the glimmering light halo, int he end I bought a winter halo and gifted it to my best friend cause they never had one.
