Ngl idk if Luke still has this set up. Ik for a fact he dont use it unless he wants to be silly or go for a memory trip boat cruise. BUTT Only thing I wanted to say is I thought we all started off with a 14-16 ft aluminum row boat with a 10-15 hps motor that was 80 years old or is it just me ? Hahaha. ALSO anyone who stuck with the boat life after that boat now most likely has atleast a 24ft bass tracker or something. I'm out of sandusky bay up here in toledo Ohio and through out the family we had multiple boats / jetskis and other toys when you own 2 lake front properties that's been in your family for 130 years 5 generations lmao.

I had one of those whalers. Was abandoned in a boat yard with a decent motor. Spend a couple months patching holes. Ran great a fished pretty good size lakes in Michigan. Sold it for a good amount when i got rid of it

I have a 1962 Alumacraft YF-16 that I've been working on for awhile that I lovingly refer to as "Galactica". Your old girl looks a lot like mine! Neat seeing another one in the wild. Can't wait to see what you do with her! :)

It's funny how we reminisce about the boat we had when we were a kid. When I little guy, our cabin neighbors had a 12ft aluminum row/power boat. They bought it after he got out of the Army (WW II)... Arkansas. The boat was an "Arkansas Linear". I bought it when I was in the military (1987)..I still have it. It's been retrofitted, refurbished several times. Fishing and crabbing in the Pacific North West. Don't use it much anymore... plan on selling her next year. My original cost.. FREE and no trailer. Overall cost as of today... an easy $8k

I was like that too, but as I got older, I found my time was worth more than trying to save money, and the time I spent trying to fix it was a great learning experience, but knowing how I find it just easier to buy it new

Could add a few magnets like mag fish on heavy reel and clicker. Easy locate

Being a Whaler fan I've Never seen a $400. + trailer deal or id say steal fits the deal better. I recently saw a 1967 Whaler no trailer but has a motor for $4k

I buy junk boats all the time for parts I need for my boats I picked up a "free boat" the other week in Rocky Mount NC.. sitting on a dual axle trailer that after I cut the boat up I turned it into a car trailer for our 52 MG. I have a 32 Marinette I am going to start a channel on eventually. I bought a junked up 34 ft boat sitting on a $15k aluminum 3 axle trailer for only $6k. I stripped everything out of the interior, most stuff was new like the air con and etc to the tune of $4k in Marine gear. Then I sold the motors and Outdrives for $2k and the man agreed to take the hull. Small boats I cut up and throw the bits in our dumpster co dumpsters and sell the trailers for like $500-$700 So your video is just showing one thing mate "This is the Way"! you are not a glutton, it's smart
