That's what I thought. I've trawled through every site he's done. I imagined only 8 year old would find the content funny. I really don't find anything on the oatmeal funny or interesting. The drawing quality is laughable (in a bad way). Which brings me to point, there are people who can squat and shit out a turd in this world and have their shit gobbled up by the masses. Born lucky I guess.

The comics are great, but it's how he markets them that is the key to his success. He didn't cover that aspect at all. There's tons of great comics online, but there's a reason his has become so popular - effective marketing. But how?
