Well it´s no big harm done if you do end up with two in one pot it´s going to work just fine and you can replant one of them in another pot when they have grown a little if you want also. I never plant this deep as they show here and am not sure what´s with the keep them warm I keep them dark and on the cellar floor which is a little cooler till they surface. Then when you replant them to bigger pots remember to plant them low with the soil almost up to the first little leafs.

Place a seed in a paper towel. Soak it with water and a couple of drops of hydrogen peroxide. Stuff it into a plastic sandwich bag. Place the bag in a dutch oven with a lid. Place the dutch oven on a heat mat. Guaranteed success.

Using a bowl works better than a second plate. With a spray bottle, you just need to layer the 2 sheets, place the seeds apart, then place the other 2 sheets and spray the paper towels with the bottle, cover with a bowl in a dark area and wait a few days, be sure to check on them after 2 days to ensure the paper towels are still damp. Once the tap-root has sprouted you can immediately plant the seed. Make sure at first you are not over watering the plant, this can cause mold growth and draw in pests, even with a drip pan. It's always better to let your plant go thirsty for a small while than attempt to combat mold growth on the plant, one is easily treatable, the other almost guarantees death or complications with the plant itself.

Erm, I put three seeds in three little paper pots on a seed mat and covered with soil. Seeds were about quarter inch from top of the soil. I have three leggy ladies two weeks later. Place them on the windowsill. I think it’s what I have to do later that gets a bit more involved and hands on.

I'm already an Expert. Zip lock freezer bags one gallon come in handy so that the paper towel don't dry out air it out daylee keep fresh air inside the bag.

First time grower. Love your videos. What do you do when you have two seedlings come up in the same solo cup? I feel like if I pull one out and try to replant it it will shock it too much. I’m not sure how the other Sillen got in there I was missing one but I thought it hit the floor. LOL. Look forward to your response.

As long as you don't harm the plant and are careful about it the transplanted weed plant should be just fine it's not like you're going to have it out of the soil for a day

Use a napkin 1st, then the towels!!!! The root gets tangled up in the fibrous towel..

Where to order seeds?

I just put my seeds in moist potting soil. Pointy end up and dont put them to deep.

Paper towel technicque is actually not that great. As the video mentioned, the seed and taproot is fragile, and its easy to harm the germinated seeds while trying to transplant them.. Growing is not hard.. its called weed for a reason..

Hello, my friend i put 8 seeds in first in a glass of water for 24 hours, they all sank, then into paper towel method they have been in 4 days now, 5 have sprouted and 3 have failed to pop, should i leave the 3 that have failed for a few more days or do i bin them, all put in same bag same conditions i`m at a loss what to do

It’s very hard to say with these things, it’s not uncommon for seeds from an identical mother to germinate at different times. With that being said we’re talking of Mother Nature and a numbers game. not all seeds will germinate. Sad fact but the truth. Some will be duds and some simply premature. You should hope for an 80% success rate, but 50% or less is not unheard of. Thanks for watching 🙏

I leave my plates in clear plastic shade house. One of those cheap, diy jobs. I put 6 seeds in 3 days ago, it's 11.30 am here, and 2 have tap roots already. Just use rain water, or put tap water in a milk/juice bottle with a lid on out in the sun for 24 hours. The uv rays kill all the crap in the water. Put that in a spray bottle and you're in business bro.

@@dcafboxingnoob7445 yeah, but get a 2-3 litre/gallon claer container with a lid and leave it in the sun for 24 hours and the uv rays kill all the bacteria in tap water.

I put mine in an airing cupboard where my boiler is. It’s at the right temp majority of the time and jus keep the plate well away from the boiler.

The sun directly wont come in my balcony but the light comes behind one more bulding is their so i cant get direct sun but the sun lite will come till morning 7am to 4pm so does by plant grow im germinating the seeds of whit widow will it works ??

I know this is waaaay too late but if it ever happens again just correct it manually, put it right side up and it will continue growing. I would never have thought it's possible but it happened to me last week 😂

make sure your paper towel stays damp, not wet, it it's wet and not just damp they wont grow, also give it a few more days, sometimes they take longer to open depending on climate//weather/etc.

Does not need to be distilled, as long as the PH value of water/feed is 6.0-6.8 for (soil) or 5.5-6.0 for (hydro) If the pH is lower or higher than that, the plant cannot take in nutrients, even if they are present-thus spurring nutrient deficiencies via "nutrient lockout". Hope not to late & good luck!

Automatic can go straight in the pot just keep in a dark area and make sure it stays moist

To check if seeds are propper, squeeze and if they don't pop then there good
