Thankyou. This worked for me with a long video after trying several other free options with shorter time limits. I just copied and pasted the text manually and it worked perfectly.

The software is not free. I wasted many hours...

@@unboxagriculture Yes! I started using Descript - but I used it for 2-3 videos, and then realised that KZread also generates automatic captions. Now my process looks differently: I duplicate the automatic captions directly in KZread studio and adapt them there. I hope this helps you :)

I just published my first video and added subtitles, but KZread isn't showing them unless you click on subtitles while you're watching it. I want the video to automatically show subtitles when the video plays and this is so frustrating since I've already uploaded my video to public! I'm so frustrated!

When I drop the subtitles on VLC player its working but when I closed the VLC and restart video then subtitles will be disappeared from video, Please advise how can we saved subtitles on VLC.

Didn´t transcribe my 2 hours video. It has a limit and then offers you 30 USD for upgrades. Did´t work for me.

You have to pay! As you only get the first 3 hours for free. After that time it will cost you. You can get it all for free using KZread studio. There is a free subtitle editor in KZread studio, so check out how it’s done.

Hello @websiteLearners, as you change subtitles text using correct option in the software Descript, In that case Audio words will be different from subtitle display or audio will be same as of final subtitle that you changed.

Extremely helpful and clear. Thanks. Just one question. Can I create subtitles in French by replacing the text in the .srt file by its French equivalent? As long as the pacing of the words roughly correspond, it should work, right? I have to often create subtitles in languages other than the one that is being spoken. Hence the question.
