I have this exact model, and have a problem where my condensation drain freezes every couple of months, which eventually leads to a layer of ice under the deli drawer. Perhaps it is a faulty defrost heater. But I notice that the heat wire that goes into the drain is hooked to one of the cooling coils. Would it hurt anything if it is hung from the defrost heater? Assuming the defrost is working, it seems that would transfer more heat to keep the condensation from freezing.
