Pro skater Ryan Decenzo teaches you how to do one of my favorite flip tricks, the frontside flip. I have seen Ryan frontside flip massive gaps, stairs and over pretty much anything you can think of. He’s definitely mastered this trick, so take notes and start practicing! Remember that you definitely need to know how to kickflip before watching this tutorial.

For FS Flips, all you have to do is to learn is play with the flip and find what you’re most comfortable with. The biggest and most crucial thing is the shoulders. Before you even pop, your shoulders should already be turning 45 degrees. By the time you flick your shoulders and torso should already be at 90 degrees and from there you just watch your flip and spot your landing

I can get half a flip and a full 180 rotation most times. The times I get the full flip and full rotation are either fakie or when it doesn't stay under me
The more vertical you put the board before you flip the more likely is to land it
