This video has helped me so much to get my first successful FS 360 jumps off the kicker! 100% didactic! So well presented with the slow motion thing and so well explained. My next goal is a backside 360. Is the BS 360 over the kicker supposed to be more difficult than the FS 360? Doesn’t look like it in your video but that’s probably because you make everything look so easy when actually it is not. Many riders say that the surface BS 360 is more difficult than the FS one, so I was wondering if the same applies when performed over the kicker.

hi JB~~i got 3 questions about kicker fs 360: 1. when is the best timing to pull the handle near to rear hip? when flatten the board before the kicker? or when on the kicker and then jump? or when after jump and in the air? 2. when on the kicker, riding a little bit outwards may help keep the rope always tight, but I think it also may make it harder to handle pass because the rope will pull you arm against your body. will it help better, when I ride( on kicker) parallel to the cable or even a small angle towards the cable, so that the line tension is small or even soft?? 3. why fs 360 is always without "to blind" but bs 360 is with ? thanks for squeezing time to answer~~
@jboneill
3 жыл бұрын
best timing is pulling at the top of the kicker edging then backing off your edge will make tension less the third question doesnt make sense
@marcinsobczak2897 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for this tutorial because I’m struggling to pass the bar while doing this trick because the rope is really tight while doing rotation. Can you explain what is the difference in edging before hitting the jump? Because I don’t know what effect edging really hard will bring compared to edging soft. Will it be difference in rope tension in air time or something like that?
@jboneill
Жыл бұрын
Yeah you could try all sorts of different edges, sometimes edging then backing off your edge last second could make the rope less tight, just play with different things

is it possible to land these „blind“ ? (or is it called wrapped?) at a certain height it seems like i can‘t land blind/wrapped because the impact brings me off balance and unwinds me etc. Is there a trick to the trick for landing blind/wrapped from greater heights?
@jboneill

Definitely possible, I would say the trick is to just practice repetitively until you build the muscle memory, there shouldn’t be a limit on height, it will just get harder the bigger you go
@iamaskater1221

JB ONeill so just doing them to blind off obstacles over and over again until I get that routine/strength sounds like a plan! I‘m just concerned that when I start learning fs 360s over bigger kickers with a handle pass it will get harder in the future to do them without passing the handle due to muscle memory. But probably i am just overthinking :P anyways, thanks JB for the fast answer! keep up your good work!!!
